PetSafe Replacement Pump, Submersible, Quiet Operation, Compatible with Drinkwell Ceramic, Stainless Steel, 360 Pet Water Fountains (PAC00-13206)

Works as advertised but I question it's quality. Works when new but after a month of continuous ruining, it won't start by powering up after cleaning. You have ti expose the propeller and give it several turns manually for it to start. Am I supposed to subscribe to auto delivery of one unit every month? Stupid and definitely poor quality of a pump that is supposed to run 24/7/365!

Works great

This is the good pump. It is for a ceramic fountain (petsafe?) that requires some power to the flow. If you have the other (plastic brand) cat fountain with the cheap bad pump and power supply, you will need to take the adjustable front grill off of your old pump and fit it onto this one to get the right flow for that pump. This new pump doesn't have the flow adjustment knob on the front grill, but you can exchange them seamlessly, and the middle piece that has the other side of the flow control lip is the same on both pumps. This pump also has the easy tabs to assist with cleaning.

This works so much better than the pumps we had already. We might actually throw out our other pumps and replace them with this one. Not sure why, but it just seems to push out water harder and faster.

**Update:: Changed 1 star rating to 4 stars. Amazon sent a new replacement pump, and this one works! The only reason I'm only giving 4 stars is because there's a deadline for the return of the broken defective pump and I'm having a hard time getting to a UPS drop off in these times of COVID 19. If I can't get it back in time, I'll be paying for the defective pump. Just seems unfair that I may have to pay for a damaged item if I can't safely find a way to return it, without taking a risk on my health and others'. I don't drive, live in NYC and it would cost as much or more to get an Uber to a drop-off location for the return of an item that arrived BROKEN & DEFECTIVE, that I've actually already paid for - they will not issue a refund if I can't make the return in time. Especially considering my long-standing status of being a very active purchasing Prime member, and I don't have a pattern of habitually returning items or abusing the system. So, the 4 stars could likely revert back to 1 star if I don't succeed in getting the return to a drop-off before the deadline *** I just purchased a replacement pump, as the original stopped working after a year. The new one arrived and does not work at all! Completely defective or damaged. I'd love to return for another because I need a working pump for my cats' water fountain. But now I'm worried I'll just get another one that doesn't work.

I had been sooooo frustrated with this pump motor as I replaced the one that came with my brand new unit about a year after I bought it. Then, only a couple months later, the new one quit working! I was really upset and knew I had seen some reviews about the same thing. I reviewed the page again to read the instructions on cleaning to ensure I wasn't missing anything. The only thing I struggled with in the past was cleaning the inside of the motor unit. I religiously clean every single part of the Drinkwell fountain, filters, etc. at least twice each week, but was still having issues and still saw little black specs floating in the water. I didn't think my motor pump would actually open up as described (I figured mine was slightly different than described on line), but low and behold, the tiny little seam in the plastic DOES open if you get your fingernail in there. And it comes off pretty easily. Then you can remove the inside parts as described on the seller's page and clean them thoroughly, adding a drop of vegetable oil on the inside metal pin as described. Voila! It worked! It even worked on the "old" one that I set aside months ago thinking it was trash. Now I have two that work. I can't tell you how excited I was to fix both of these and now realize how quickly all that "gunk" builds up inside the motor and must be cleaned to operate correctly over time. Give it a try -- you'll be so much less frustrated and won't have to buy a whole new fountain.

I didn't know a transformer would come with this. Save your old transformer, as the one sent is loud. The pump is very good and has bump outs that make removing the propeller cover and outer cover very easy! That was a problem with my old one. Since I was only needing the pump, this is a great deal.

Great replacement for my cat's drinking fountain. I only had to change out the cover with the old cover and it worked fine.

Brought to replace a broken cat water fountain pump. The new pump is supplied with an 'American' plug/transformer (as shown in the pictures), so an adaptor would be required if you need to replace everything. However the new pump can be plugged into the old transformer if it is still working. Pump working well with no issues.

The voltage is wrong!
