What's not to like about this umbrella stand/base? I bought 2 stands at Lowes that were very poor quality and fell over in the slightest wind. After a disappointing search I had decided to just make my own with a galvanized feed trough filled with concrete and installed casters. But right before I did that I found this one on Amazon. The quality is great. I have been having it for about 6 weeks. It is just the right weight to prevent it from tipping over in wind gusts. The part that holds the umbrella pole is constructed so that it will not break or bend and it features two sets of screws to secure the pole in place. And it's a great looking design. We filled ours with water and it does not leak. From the video you can see how easy it is to move around. Sometimes we keep it by the loungers, other times we move it near the pool to provide extra shade for when you just want to sit on the shallow side out of the sun. The casters are very good quality, two fixed position with locks and 2 swivel casters. I wish I could have uploaded a second video that shows a strong gust of wind blowing and this thing did not budge. Forget anything else you might find, this is a great bargain.

Excellent product. Easy. Filled mine with water. No problem in a year! Rolls great too. No problem with the wheel locks. Very sturdy and a nice design too.

I have bought several umbrella bases in the past and this is the first one I liked. I bought this one, put it together in a few minutes and placed a ten foot umbrella in it. I liked it so much that I immediately bought a second one for another umbrella I had in a deck outside my second floor bedroom. The four wheels (two that lock by pressing down on a lever with your foot) installed with four screws each. I used my drill with a Phillips bit and it was easy. Then I attached the vertical piece that the umbrella slides into with the bottom screw provided. They even provided a small Allen wrench to secure it. The vertical shaft has two screw bolts to secure the umbrella. Every one I have had in the past only had one set screw bolt and the umbrellas were never secure. This one has two set screw bolts on the shaft and is a game changer as it completely secured the umbrella. I then opened the top and filled with a hose. The base is very light and easy to carry and place where you want it and fill with water. It’s moves smoothly. I can’t speak of durability since it’s new but it appears to be well-made. Highly recommended.

It’s plastic, but looks fairly heavy duty. Assembly was easy and straightforward. I’m just hoping it holds up to the Arizona sun. Filled it with water and was able to move it around fairly easily.

This mobile fillable umbrella stand is awesome, and moves easily. I live in a very windy area and have had zero problems with my umbrellas blowing over! I have tried many 100lb stands that still don't work. These are quite large, but the large square base is one of the reasons it is so effective. They look great and are very effective.

I love these umbrella stands!! I have bought 3 of these now!!! High quality and easy to use. Simply fill with water and lock down the wheels when you get it where you want it to be! Easy to move around! I’ve had one for over a year and there is no rust or anything falling apart on it! This is a great stand!!!

This freestanding umbrella stand is strong and a great value. On our patio, it’s holding a 10ft wide, heavy umbrella, sitting on a slightly inclined paver patio floor, behind the pour-over fountain wall in our “sip & dip” pool. The base was easy to assemble and the instructions were clear. The rollers worked good on the pavers and I only put water in the base tank, instead of sand and water, knowing it wouldn’t be as heavy. That night a strong storm hit our area, but we had forgotten to lower the large umbrella before we went to bed. Here in Oklahoma, the thunderstorms and winds are strong (tornadoes). When we woke up to no electricity due to the fierceness of the storm, the umbrella was still standing, but the base (along with the 10ft umbrella) had moved about 1.5ft while the rollers were locked! The 2 locking twist knobs on the upright base pipe held the big umbrella in place during that wild storm. The heavy base kept the umbrella from becoming a flying torpedo and from crashing into our master bedroom windows. I highly recommend this umbrella base, plus the base is pretty and understated.
