This is not a real stray razor. It’s a razor shaped object and only should be used as a paperweight.

Dull
Item came with a dull blade, and no sharpener. It would even cut the small hirs on my hand. So much for using it straight out of the box, gotta get a sharpener and sharpen it first.

Not at all sharp.
The blade looks beautiful, it just is not sharp at all. If you order one of these, be prepared to spend a good amount of time getting it into a usable condition.

Are you wanting to shave?
If you are wanting to shave, look much further and this highly decorative piece comes as dull as a butter knife. The Damascus steel seems to be of good quality which further hinders the process of sharpening this blade to be shaving sharp. If you want a cool looking display piece, look no further. If you want to shave, look elsewhere.

It should of came with a sharpener

Rehone
Nice quality straight razor. However, had to re-hone the cutting edge. Came from factory with the wrong edge angle. Took a very long time to re-hone.

Poor Quality Blade
The Good: It's very pretty.The Bad: The edge is not straight there is a slight curve to it. Also it shaves about as well as an electric trimmer... not an electric shaver a trimmer it leaves stubble instead of a close shave one would expect from a straight razor. Spend some extra money on a good quality like DOVO.
