Limited Diet
My dog has PLE, his body doesn't absorb protein. Finding a treat that is natural, low in fat is so hard. When we found Beg and Barker Turkey chips we won the dog treat lottery! He loves them and I cant keep them in stock at home!

Great dog treats
My malteses loves these treats. They are easy to crack in small pieces and are good quality. You can appreciate the chicken fibers in each piece.

Best Dog Treats - But I'd order direct from the company.
After talking to the company directly, I discovered Amazon had received a shipment of over cooked treats. Usually this has never been a problem in the past. But I'm not taking any chances, I'm ordering direct from the company from here forward. I sent Jade at Beg and Barker a picture of the beef chips that Marshall usually loves above all other treats and discovered that Amazon had received a batch of the over cooked beef chips. Also, I'm not sure how long they sit in the warehouse. When you order direct, you get the highest quality treats for your doggie. :)

Potentially Unsafe
Any dog that likes turkey will want to eat this. I think it’s great that it’s a single ingredient treat, no artificial or unnecessary additions — that’s how ALL canine food & treats should be by law! My problem with this product is that the treats themselves are very thin, hard, and with raspy edges. They could pose a danger to a dog’s mouth and larynx. I had to break them into smaller pieces, but even that is unsafe because the broken pieces often break into pieces with pointy edges. I don’t want to imagine what would happen if a piece of this got stuck in their throat… So I won’t be buying this anymore — it’s too much of a risk. Also, I’m not a big fan of the plastic packaging. Time to start making healthier and eco-friendlier packaging.

Oily, but OK.
My pet store stopped carrying this brand after my dog got hooked. I’ve purchased these multiple times on Amazon and the chicken variety seems oily compared to what my dog became addicted to. The turkey, beef, and pork are less oily. They are still crunchy, and my dog still seems to like them, but the oiliness of the chicken is notable.

My dogs LOVE these.
My dogs LOVE these. They are too thin, and many are lost to fine crumbs at the bottom of the bag. Anything beef, which I must use as I have 2 dogs allergic to all fowl, don't like fish, and are picky about lamb, which is usually extremely expensive NOW ADAYS. This ridiculous and cruel move to take away meat from canines (and people) is disturbing at the very least. The prices are doing as promised...pricing people out of buying it for themselves and their dogs. Methane Gas? That's been a "thing" since millions of small to massive sized DINOSAURS walked the planet. Unnecessary hype, unnecessary stoking of fear, unless one has a bigger agenda afoot...so there it is. Our cattle are being eliminated. Plant protein is connected to cancer in dogs...although the information on this is not made readily available, of course. I try VERY hard NOT to buy it. Dogs are not plant eaters, not sure if they were ever fish eaters, except out of necessity... never were, and should never be. Nevertheless, I have given these chips to my dogs, and to neighbor's dogs; there's NO mistaking their surprise and joy after they eat one:)
