FRINE Fret Polishing Kit 5 PC.

Seem to do the job but even when using the fret guards the product still gets through and you have to wipe it off the fretboard everytime. So I just use masking tape as well as the fret guards and than it's a breeze to do. The product seems decent and it shines the frets up well!

Great for polishing frets strangely enough.

Great fret polish. The frets on my guitar were very dull and string bends were impossible. After using the product my frets were better than new and string bends were a dream. The fret guards were a little difficult to use and I found I still had to tape up the neck to protect the fretboard (masking tape works well). Good value for money (very little product used over the whole fretboard) and everything you need to get started comes in the box. For regular maintenance this product is great. The smell is not too overpowering (it has a similar smell to most other metal polishes) but I would recommend using it in a well ventilated area.

Product works as it should fret protectors are included can't go wrong

I bought this kit because I like MusicNomad products. I've been impressed with all of them and this might be the one that impressed me the most so far. I had to do a fret sprout job on my DIY kit guitar so I bought this along with a b file, a diamond coated file and the tracer kit from Nomad. After I finished dealing with the frets with all the previously mentioned products, I took out the Frine polishing kit thinking that my frets were already as shiny as they could get. The Frine removed more gunk than I could ever imagine + that guitar was new and never played ! I took a white microfiber cloth on purpose just to see what it could clean up. After I finished all the 24 frets with Frine, the cloth was covered with black stains. Every single fret polished with Frine left a black streak on the cloth. I don't know what it is made of but it works. The frets were shinier than ever. The kit includes a microfiber that I did not use and 3 handy protectors to make sure the polish only ends up on the frets and not the wood. With the bigger tool (the one for medium-jumbo frets I suppose), it worked fine. If you put too much polish, it will run on the sides of the metal protectors and smear the wood so be careful. If a mishap happens, it does wipe off easily but don't leave the product on the wood. A single tiny drop on each fret is all that is needed. Thankfully, the Frine squeeze bottle has a really small applicator and the stuff is thick so it's really easy to get a single tiny droplet out at a time. I really should have taken a before and after picture of the frets to show what this stuff can do. After a fret polish job with erasers or Nomad's tracers, it's the perfect finishing product.

For more than 30 years of off and on playing guitar and bass, never have I cleaned or polished my fretboard. But the kit is simply amazing, I do be live it cured my minor buzzing issues with the low E 5 fret or A. My CIJ Geddy Lee Jazz bass almost look brand new! Only issues I have, is that I own three electric and another bass to cleaned.

Perfect it is the first time I have polished guitar frets and I am I'm pressed with the results.

Funktioniert gut. Meine Bünde waren leicht "rostig" . Nachher wieder glatt und glänzend.
