Good for All Levels
TLDR: WonWord has 3 different levels of difficulty, which can be played at the same time. The instructions are well laid out, and a video form is available. The packaging is well thought out, and nicely organized. My family enjoyed playing together. This is a pretty good game. One of my children is cognitively impaired and autistic, and this can make it very hard to find any games that we can enjoy as a family, where no one is bored, overwhelmed, or unable to play because it is too difficult. When I purchased WonWord, I anticipated only being able to play with my daughter, because there aren't very many games that we can play together at our individual skill levels. Not only were we all able to play together, but there was little to no frustration playing for the first time, which for us is huge.As a homeschool parent, I know that finding ways to make learning fun can be important. Learning games are often created to be used for very specific age ranges and skill levels, which can be frustrating as my kids are at very different learning levels. We didn't have this problem with WonWord. Not only does it have 3 different skill level options, the instructions manual has instructions on playing with a group who are all on different levels. The game is also designed so that you can choose to either play cooperative or competitive, and has instructions for both. The instructions are very well laid out, and easy to comprehend. On top of that, there are video instructions on the Semper Smart Games website that breaks down how to play. It wasn't hard to pick up how to play, although I do suggest keeping the instructions manual around while you play if you need a more in depth explanation of what to do for various cards. The packaging is well thought out and nicely organized, with different word decks in their own individual compartments, so they don't get mixed up, and you can go through one at a time. Each item in the box has a spot, and the whiteboard fits nicely on top of it all. The box seems to be fairly durable, and does not seem like it would break easily.I recommend this game to homeschool families looking for a new favorite game, as well as just anyone who enjoys words and challenging their friends to learn something new.

Vocabulary comprehension at its best!
I initially played this game with my family, and it was a HIT! I have four kids who are all middle and high school age. This game was perfect for them! Wonword plays a lot like Cranium but with a purpose. It is HIGHLY engaging and, when played according to the rules, includes a LOT of laughter!I am also a reading specialist, working as an interventionist at a K-12 school. I will be using this with my struggling readers as many of them desperately need to build vocabulary skills and comprehension. This is a great tool for families to incorporate on family game night that will benefit their child in school and life!

Refreshing Pick!!!
As a homeschooling mom of three with three totally different scopes of special needs, learning can be difficult at times and we heavily implement gameschooling in our curriculum. I am no expert but I can say that, over the years, we've purchased and played countless games marketed as educational supplements or "learning games". So many are just more of the same recycled concepts, packaged differently and filled with fresh promises. It becomes boring, frustrating and costly to find something "new" that we truly haven't seen before.Recently, we attended a homeschooling expo and came across the Semper Smart Games booth. We spoke with the creator, Jim -- an incredibly kind father and veteran with a passion for educational fun and supporter of the HS community. He graciously took the time to thoroughly explain each game, his thought process behind each one and the best method of game play for everything at his table. Games were open and on display which I appreciate because I hate paying $20-50 for a boardgame only to open it and find flimsy boards and cheap, fragile pieces. All of his games are of the best quality! Especially for the reasonable, comparable prices!Immediately, I jumped on Amazon in the middle of this vendor hall and grabbed Wonword! Shortly after discussing it, we circled back around and picked up two more games from Jim's table. My kids couldn't wait to pop them open when we got home and we love them! I cannot recommend Semper Smart Games enough! In regards to Wonword specifically, I knew (based on Jim's recommendations) that it may be too advanced for my kids but my husband and I thought it sounded fun. It's perfect for adult game night when Apples to Apples gets old! I promise you've never played a game like this before! My children (10, 12, 14) enjoy it as well but we do help the youngest when she really needs it. Still a blast either way! With or without assistance, they're still learning and having fun!Thank you, Semper Smart Games for crafting a well-made, thoroughly developed line of boardgames that not only make sense but my kids actually want to play! I will be a repeat customer as long as you continue to sell! We can't wait to grab the other games we left behind and enjoy the full collection!

Awesome Game 🎯 Good Teaching Tool
This game seems complicated when you set it up, but if you watch the short video on how to play it, it's not difficult at all.I am really good at words and loved English in school and it still challenged me. My nine year old also enjoyed it and learned some new words! It's got a lot of variety in what your challenges can be, so that keeps it very interesting. I also love that it's fast paced and doesn't take hours to play.Everything was thought of in this game. It's well designed, excellently explained, and imaginative. As a homeschool family, it's the perfect tool for learning words, their meanings, synonyms, antonyms, and how to use them in sentences. I really loved the homophone cards because they make you spell the correct homophone, which is something that many people online seem to lack.... knowing when to use the correct homophone! 😂I'm very happy with this purchase and see many hours of happy playing ahead for us.
