Mont Blanc Refill at a Good Price
Purple is my favourite ink colour, I love writing in purple ink, it suits my handwriting and personality well. I have a Mont Blanc Boheme Blue that I received for my 40th birthday, but of course expensive pen, expensive refills. Usually getting purple ink from anywhere other than Mont Blanc themselves is difficult. However direct from Mont Blanc is very expensive on the shipping costs (approximately £10 for dispatch), so I popped on here and discovered that I could get Amethyst Mont Blanc refills from here without the hefty shipping fee. Bargain! For slightly above the Mont Blanc refill asking price I could get the refills I needed without adding another tenner on top. I never run out of refills because they are not only affordable but they are also dispatched much quickly. Win win all round.

Royal Blue by another name but great smooth flowing writing
The Pacific Blue refill has a lovely royal blue color. As with other montblanc rollerballs the cartridge has a nice flow and make for a great note taking pen. I haven't exhausted the first one after a couple of weeks of notes and scribbles; and there are two in the box so despite the price it still feels like good value.

Quality of product.
The written words are extremely good.. The refills were to be compatible with a Balnain pen. It is slightly shorter than the original by millimetres. The nib just protrudes enough to write.

The ink doesn't flow properly - scratchy, lumpy, disappointing
I have had the same experience as several others - the ink flow is terrible as the ball seems to stop rolling part way through words, let alone sentences. I struggle to believe these are genuine Mont Blanc refills as (a) the shape of the cartridge is slightly different, (b) the roller ball itself is larger than the 'medium' cartridge that came with the pen - and I just can't believe Mont Blanc would distribute something which simply doesn't work as well as something so (relatively) expensive ought to do. Disappointed doesn't cover it.
