Red Clear Lava Motion Lamp

negatives include the clear liquid inside gets misty after a while. the fuse on the plug broke and i had to replace it too make it work again. the red liquid takes like 3 hours to be fully functional and flowing. the metal at the top is very weak and has deformed due to accidentally stepping on it. the light output is pretty poor, you wouldn't use it too light up a room.positives, it looked nice for the first few months. the red really does stand out like it does in the picture.does it's job but if you're expect pure quality this isn't it. but it's pretty cheap so can't complain too much.

Bought for my husbands Christmas .. took us back to our childhood when they were around in the 70/80's. Extremely relaxing to watch - almost hypnotic. Our children sit and watch it if it's on instead of the TV and keeps them quiet for ages ... I do think the red with the clear liquid is the best out of all the colours. When the wax has heated the red has an appearance of almost seethrough. It doesn't take overly too long to heat up either unlike some of the bigger ones. This size is just perfect for us. We have it sitting in the fire place where the candles are. Would highly reccommend it - esp the colour.

I bought the lava lamp from "UKayed Trade Solutions Ltd" . It was very cheap and right now the lava lamp is doing great.I am studying in Denmark,The lava lamp was dispatched on 3rd April and came on 10th of April.The first time when I turned the lava lamp on,it needed around 2 h in order the wax block to melt,after that the show started.Next day when I turned it on again,after an hour,something which I did not expected happened,lava eruptions!The wax started firing every 10 min or so from the bottom till the top of the lamp in a straight line,after that turning from liquid again into a hard mass,thus making that straight line from the bottom till the top standing still,it was so amazing!After an hour,the wax in the middle which was connected with the bottom,melted thus making the top wax detach from the roof of the lamp,when the top hit the bottom,it melted in 2 min and the bubble show started.I won't forget that experience,I am hoping to see those eruptions every day!

Bought one of these a couple of years ago and loved it that much I wanted another one ... My last one was clear water as well , this one says it's clear but it isn't, it's foggy looking .... Also right on the front of the lamp is stamped who it's made by, you can't get this off and makes it look cheap... I'm very disappointed it's not the same as the other one, bought exactly the same item but it's not the same lamp at all !!!!!

I would say this product is stylish and contemporary but at the same time keeps it's cool retro look. The product is very cheap in price but the build and the quality of the lamp is very well constructed and certainly does not look cheap. It's a great product and creates a very warm and cosy atmosphere in any room and is lovely to put on in the evening after a hard day at work and chill in front of the tv. My only little problem i have is the time it takes to heat up but after that it is great.

really nice product - well packaged and arrived promptly - good value for money and my mother loves it! This is her second purchase in a year because we realised she was using it for too long periods (about 10 hours a day) which affected the wax. Advise you only use this or any other oil / wax lamp for 6 hours per day max.

Took its time to arrive but working fine and looks good . If they could improve in delivery times I'd have given it 5 stars

Bought for children's room at night. They do get hot, so really not safe to be left with a child who might touch it.Takes along time to work the first the it is used, but it gets quicker.
