Works great for what I needed... I have an efficiency and there is no stove... I picked this up at a great price and now I can cook pretty much everything I want to... it does take a while to heat up, but once it gets going it does a perfect job on boiling pasta, heating sauce and gravys, cooking steak or chicken, even stir fry and eggs... I love mine! It does get very hot and takes a while to cool to the touch so be cautious when handling after use... also cleans easy!

This double electric burner is AMAZING ~ It boils a pot of water. It doesn't shut off & on like my last one burner/plates. I recommend putting a little oil on burners with paper towel to prevent rusting ~ Do at your own risk. This is how I maintain my cast iron skillets and seems to have same benefits with this item.

Can’t only use one burner a a time, they are both on when I only need one. I think the that’s dangerous

As a result, I changed my rating from 1 star to 3 stars to account for their quick customer service and the overall customer/product experience. I would not hesitate to purchase again from this seller knowing that they are dedicated to their customer support and satisfaction. The burner I received takes ***FOREVER**** to heat up. Seriously. I swept the living room and did a couple of other things before the food even started to heat up. I need to add 15 min to my cooking routine if I am going to use this. Now, if I'm going camping, this would suffice because I can take it easy and can chill while the beans heat up. Plus, the plates are cast iron so they should last. BUT, if I want to use this in my kitchen for side dishes then I have to be prepared to wait an additional 15 minutes for this thing to rev up. In addition, despite cleaning it after cooking, it developed a strange black spot just days after receiving it. I haven't been able to clean it off. I watched several review videos and while one of them mentioned how long it took for the water to boil, about 15 minutes, I realized not too long ago that they receive commissions if you buy so they are not going to say anything negative. I am telling you my experience and my experience was that it takes much longer for this thing to heat up. I'm taking it camping with me and I am sure it will do the job, but this takes way too long for me to supplement my needs in the kitchen at home. Disappointed.

Love it can use for so many different stuff

Unfortunately one of the knobs literally fell off after one use. Was more like a rental. Was in my trash can 3 days after purchase.
