Amazing and the only way to drill multiple holes in ceramic tiles
This is amazing and saves you hours of time and toil trying to drill into ceramic tiles. Originally used a bit from elsewhere and after 20mins of slow drilling and a hot bit I got half way through so I gave up ordered this on prime and the next day I drilled 5 holes in less than 3 mins. Will need a cheap angle grinder to connect it to. Only issue this is the smallest bit they do and some of my shower fittings had tiny raw plugs and the hole may be too large. They also do an expensive set with multiple size bite but a chose to buy the size I needed and save £50.

Great drilling bit.
Not much to dislike except for the price as they only tend to last 4 to 6 holes in 20mm porcelain tiles, that said they do the job really well. Although they have wax in them which melts to keep them cool we also used water.

6 x 10mm holes thru 20mm porcelain
The jury is still out, I used a 10mm on 20mm porcelain tiles and did 6 holes. It worked well but then struggled at the end of the 6th hole. It looks like I’ve postwar the diamonds off the bottom! There are still some on the sides so will have to see when I need it next. I was drilling straight down, so not sure if I had the wrong technique, otherwise it sees like a good piece.

Fast , clean controlled cut
Brilliant way of drilling tiles I used to use the wax 6mm core bits and I was lucky to get one bathroom out of one bit and there where £18 each . now I found these bits and there are more cost affective, double or triple the speed so can get as many holes done as I like in no time at all , I’m on my third porcelain tiled bathroom and the bit is still so sharp well worth it . A lot of people I no are put of with using a grinder and not a drill , don’t be !! give it a go practice first and you won’t look back Thanks grant

Excellent bit...after removing the wax and using water cooling
Took a gamble on this based on the positive reviews across sites and they proved to be accurate. Excellent value for money in the end and went allot further than I expected. This 12mm bit managed 56 holes through 20mm porcelain patio tiles and looks like its hardly worn. That was using a dribble of water from the hose for cooling for every hole, and running on a cordless makita grinder tool. The only niggle which I came across on the first hole was the wax, it's actually a PITA on a larger diameter bits like this. I quickly drilled and melted it all out of the bit. It's logical really that there is nowhere for the waste pellet of porcelian that's being drilled out to go. This is likely not so much of a problem on the small bit sizes where the porcelain is ground down to dust. After every hole you quickly suss out a technique to punch out the waste pellet wedged in there before cracking on with the next hole. Would I buy this again, yes, absolutely.

Works fine on porcelain
Bit worked a treat. Used on thick porcelain tiles and done a great job. So far it's done about 15 holes and has life left in it. This won't last forever but it's perfect for projects and a small price to pay for what it does, just bear in mind you must cool it with water as you drill. Do that and it will last and do a fast, smooth job. Just use an old spray bottle or similar and job done.

Best buy!
These are the best porcelain bits for a decent price , as a full time tiler fitting the hardest grade porcelain tiles I use these most days of the week! For use in a angle grinder, do not apply loads of pressure or you will overheat the bit and polish the tip, if you have a variable speed grinder then back the speed down a little, I use a makita 18v cordless grinder and the speed is perfect, if you look after the bit and keep it cool it will last several holes, if you use in ceramic you could drill hundreds of holes very quickly
