Xuron 494 4 in 1 Crimping Pliers

dont be put off by the price, the cost is actually alot less than the items rrp, this tool is worrh its weight in gold, its well made and is a quality tool, it crimps a 1mm bead with absolute precision, not like the cheaper versions, it also closes the round crimp covers with precision and ease, very please with this investment for my craft projects.

I am so glad I bought this!! I can finally crimp with confidence. I've tried other crimping pliers as well as just using chain nose and my crimps always came off. The first time I used this I got a perfect crimp. The very fine point is great for wire-wrapping when you need to squeeze just the end of the wire. It's also great for starting spirals giving you a very small, tight centre. I shopped around and this was a fantastic price. I've purchased more Xuron tools through Amazon since and I can't wait to try them out.

I've used so many different crimping pliers, which to date have mostly been useless.... ...until I bought these! They are great quality, as all Xuron pliers are, but more importantly, they do the job they're intended for. Three size crimp grooves and a substantial folding groove, which completes the task. As well as that, they have a very fine flat nose end, so I find myself using these for my rosary linking as well. Just a fabulous tool

This is good but not perfect. It makes a great dent in the crimp tube, but I use my old (far cheaper) crimping tool to squish the tube after its been dented! This tool doesn't do such a good job at that stage.

Buy this crimping tool instead of wasting money on others before you buy this anyway. It works perfectly first time and gives professional looking strong crimps, without the learning curve that other crimping tools have a reputation for needing in order to be used properly. Don't despair if you think your crimping skills will never be good enough, this tool is designed to work properly, and do the work for you, which some other tools in my experience fall short of doing. If I had bought this first I could have spent the money wasted on other tools for different sizes of crimp on beads! Live and learn! Far superior to two other popular brand tools we have tried. My wife is recovering from a minor stroke and I am writing this for her. She is so relieved to have a tool that she can use to make crimps, as she was beginning to think she would never be able to accomplish this aspect her new jewellery hobby properly. Just watch the straightforward and short YouTube video, it's easy.

They have given me new hope with beading. At least 5 out of 10 attempts previously failed leaving me totally frustrated at having to re thread if I didn't realise straight away that the crimp was not totally secure and cut the thread. With these pliers every crimp is secure. They are honestly the best tool I have purchased in a long time, and I'm so glad I got them. Now beading for me has become an addiction, not something I dread. Can't praise them highly enough. Worth every penny.

Easy to use and nice to hold in your hand.

These crimping pliers are brilliant. It's handy having the 3 different sized crimp folding stations. I love the fine long nosed pliers too, as it gives me a much better grip and control when making things such as my hand made jump rings and any delicate work. This tool is far superior to my basic pliers and separate bead crimper, giving much better results. Glad I bought it and would recommend it. Excellent quality product too.

I have been making/stringing jewelry for 14 years. This crimping tool is the best crimper I have ever come across! A year ago, I was teaching a friend how to crimp and she broke the crimp tool that I had since 2004. I have bought 3 different crimp tools in various brands since then, none of which would close a crimp neatly and securely to my satisfaction - until I found this one. The Xuron 4-in-1 tool is versatile and the product description in the listing is spot on. I love this crimp tool for many reasons. First, the part of the tool with the dimp that crimps the bead into a C-shape has no gap in it, so it crimps nice and tight. Secondly, there are three different sizes of spaces to use to fold over the crimp, and each folds it nice and tight. Thirdly, it's so nice to have a chain nose tip built into it. I can use it to tighten/flatten the crimp even further, before adding a crimp cover. Lastly, I was delighted to find that the largest size of the three spaces works wonderfully to close a crimp cover over a crimp bead with the least amount of deforming. Just use the chain nose tip to partially close the crimp cover, then use the largest space to close the crimp cover the rest of the way. Hardly any deforming at all. I have never found a crimp tool that works as well as this one does, and I highly recommend it. A great value for the money, too. Thank you Xuron!

Gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut! Leicht und liegt gut in der Hand, mit etwas Übung und vorsichtigem Crimpen lässt sich fast jede Größe ohne Probleme verarbeiten. Weiter gefällt mir die schmale, glatte Spitze, mit der sich auch Kaschierperlen und Kalotten schließen lassen. Teuer, aber ein wirklich guter Kauf!
