Buy See Inside World Religions: With over 60 flaps to lift: 1 uk by Alex Frith, Usborne (ISBN: 9781409594574) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Great for curious childeren & debate - I can’t fault these DK flapbooks for anything else than them being big: we’ve got quite a few of them and they take up space. But these colorful educational books are well worth the logistical effort. The page-wide illustrations are brilliant, sometimes a little funny and they will draw each child’s or adult’s attention only to start lifting up some flaps to reveal more. It’s simply an excellent manner to instill some facts and general knowledge through curiosity. The hard cover books are of high quality and generally durable, with the only weakness being the flaps that can fold or tear after repeated use. So these books are less practical for schools of libraries . we thought our children a little discipline with reading them. The topic of world religions proves the broad and strong DK flap book topic selection. In fact this topic probably lends itself better for visual representation than some geographic or science books in the series, in my opinion. The various aspect of religions are neatly represented in a neutral manner. Our daughter has a very strong opinion on religions - probably from her hippy grandma. But we found reading the book offers a good basic idea about various religions and their origins. While it offers a base for further little debate and discussions with your children - can’t be better really. So very pleased and happy to recommend. Review: Excellent book. - Good educational book for children to learn about all religions. Written and illustrated as a pop up book which makes it easier for children to read and understand.

Excellent book
My 6 year old loves this. I found it interesting too. It's organised thematically, rather than by religion

My kids were asking about religion and I needed a book to help guide our conversations. They are 6 and 4 and both have enjoyed looking through this book with me. I think it will last us a while as older kids would like it too. It gives answers to what religion is as well as prominent aspects of various religions. We aren’t a religious family but I feel it’s important for them to know about religions to respect them and give them an opportunity to follow a religion if they choose to in the future.

There’s lots going on in this book. Makes me wonder what age it is really for. The illustrations and flaps clearly indicate an early age, but young kids cannot possibly sit through (or even understand) so much information which is mostly quite abstract. It is confusing and overwhelming, it is perhaps trying to achieve too much. I found far more useful the illustrated books series that explain one religion per book.

I am so impressed with this book. My son became interested in world religions so I ordered it for him, he is almost 6. This book gives equal attention, time, and space to all major world religions without showing preference for any one in particular. It is incredibly colorful, informative, and the many lift up flaps are exciting. This is a beautiful book that teaches children about world religions in a fair and balanced way. I would highly recommend this book to any parent trying to teach their child about religions in a non biased way. I imagine for those who have deep faith in a particular religion may possibly feel differently, as it clearly does not prefer any religion and even points out historical use of same stories and practices by different religions over time. It is a great primer on how religion is established to answer big life questions, but does not assume any religions answers are the right ones. This book is fabulous, I am beyond impressed and it blew any expectations I had right out of the water.

I brought this for my curious son, it’s helped explain some religions. We want him to have a better understanding of the many different beliefs in the world!
