Works on an Old English Sheepdog
Love this brush. Purchased a similar very pricey brush from another German manufacturer. Pins easily bent. This brush is terrific for long coats.

Best brush for long hair breeds
I have been a Keeshond breeder for over 25 years and this is the best brush ever for Kees. The bristles are long enough to get through the long coat. It doesn't strip out too much hair. Makes grooming a joy!

Could not do without this one for our double coat Pomeranian
I first found out about #1 All Systems brushes from a groomer's online blog - I just bought my second one, the small 27mm one and left a review but I thought I have to review this one too! Fabulous service from Cherrybrook Pet, the seller.This review is for the the large wood handle 35 mm soft (white) base. I bought it as an alternative to the expensive Chris Christensen brush that I had been eyeing. We have a pet Pomeranian with a full show-quality double coat and winced at the possibility of having to go regularly to a groomer's to wash him. So we got the best tools and products that we could...one of those tools we could not live without was that one. We wash and blow-dry every 3 weeks or so, thoroughly down to the skin, and couldn't do without our #1 All Systems brush! I have even bought one in the shorter pin 27mm and large size for a wet brush for humans - we have thick wavy/curvy hair.
