This is the only brush I'll ever use ever again... I've had one of these before and it broke after maybe 8 years of usage... I've got thick hair and this is the only only brush that's ever gotten through my hair...I love it... I love love love it...

I have long, thick, straight hair and I LOVE this brush. Pins are super long and do not have those dreaded tips or balls on the ends so they glide through and de-tangle your hair quickly whether it's wet or dry. I have several of these "#1 All Systems" Brushes for myself, keep one in every purse & one at the office too. As for DOGS, it would be great for the Afghan Hounds, Shih Tzus or flowing coated breeds like that, not the best for my thick double coated German Shepherd though. (I use a different brush for him - the Mars Professional which is perfect for him!) Well worth the money - give it a try!

This pins of this brush are very flexible and forgiving. It's not a serious detangler for a chow dog but it helps to reinforce that brushing can be pain-free and instead, a bonding experience. Very comfortable in the hand. High quality brush.

I have a full coated (natural length, no trimming) Pomeranian and this is the only brush I will use on him. It never pulls his hair, gently works out tangles and does such a good job I can run a detangling comb through his fur and there are no tangles left. I have the smaller one for myself...I have fine hair and other brushed break my hair.
