If you’re into modding older iPods, this board does exactly what it promises. It’s well made, fits properly, and completely changes what these devices are capable of. Installation is straightforward if you’ve done any iPod modding before, and compatibility with high-capacity storage is the real win here. Performance is solid, the iPod feels responsive, and it’s far more reliable than juggling multiple cards or older adapters. This isn’t a beginner upgrade and it’s worth saying that up front. You need to be comfortable opening the device, flashing firmware if required, and generally knowing your way around an iPod. But that’s who this product is for, and for that audience it’s excellent. If you want to breathe new life into an old iPod and make it genuinely usable again, this is the best solution I’ve used.

Lo único malo del producto es que llegó en un sobre de papel, sin absolutamente nada de protección, y eso es algo importante debido a que es una pieza frágil. En cuanto al propio producto, funcionó perfectamente en un iPod Classic 5. Soy alguien con nulo conocimiento de reparación o manipulación de dispositivos así, y sin embargo logré instalarlo correctamente en unos 10 o 15 minutos. Le puse una Kingston Canvas de 128 gb de $250 pesos o $12 dólares aproximadamente, y la leyó sin problemas. Pasé de 30 gb a 128 gb, y para mi es suficiente. Actualizaré si se presentan fallas.

Sadly the product came in a plastic envelope, no extra protection considering that it is a piece of hardware that easily can be damaged.
