I was so nervous about traveling with meds for the first time and needing them to be kept cool for long travel days. This worked perfectly and stayed colder way longer than expected. When I had the chance, I put the meds in a fridge and the gel pack in a freezer. It stayed at 2° even when travelling in scorching hot Italy! I am so relieved and would recommend this.

Works as advertised. No gimmick.

I needed something to keep my eye drops cold and I found out that these thungs exist, which is perfect. It may be advertised for insulin, but it sure could work for anything you need to keep refrigerated. Anyways, the temperature display is a really nice feature and almost a must-have for this type of stuff, so that is good. It has been a week now and I have had zero problems with the insulation of the bottle or the temperature display not working. As far as I have tested, it keeps cool under 38 degrees Fahrenheit for at least 12 hours. During those 12 hours, it has been in an A/C cooled area, in a hot car for a moment, and walking outside in the hot sun for a bit. Overall, this does the job if you need to keep something fairly small refrigerated on-the-go. It is a bit pricey IMO, but at least it seems to be of good quality and it comes with everything you need.

Father used it for his insulin pens when he went to Cuba. Went through security with no issues. They looked inside swabbed and said have a nice trip.
