Great, functional little hub!! I had an old purgo brand one that I bought from Amazon about a year ago and it stopped working recently. Decided to upgrade to the Anker one and wowww, I noticed the difference in quality immediately. It’s a bit larger, feels sturdier, and has more ports. Plugged it into my MacBook right away and everything is working perfectly! I was having issues with my monitor flashing on and off with the old hub and that is no longer an issue with this one :) charges great too!

I recently purchased a MacBook Air, and as you know it doesn't have any HDMI or USB ports. I already have a Lenovo ThinkPad docking station but it only has one HDMI port. I bought this Anker product because I needed a second HDMI port but didn't want to pay a lot of money for a new docking station. It also charges my laptop so that's a plus, along with a couple of USB ports if you need them. So far it works great and I highly recommend it.

Needed to add additional USB ports to my MacBook Pro M1. Device works great, adds the ports I was looking for. Durable all metal design. Compatible as described with my MacBook. Color matches well too. Its a little odd plugging in and removing, and it flexes a little, but overall I am happy with it.

This only advertises 60hz@4k with HDMI... so I was worried this wouldn't play well with my displayport to USB-C cable for my monitor, but as a matter of fact it went from being 120hz@4K with the native mac usb port... to 240hz@4K with this USB hub connected. Don't understand how that even works but I'm beyond happy with it.
