This antenna mount stuck to my truck roof like a tick on a hound!
I was looking for a magnetic mount for my weboost antenna. I needed something to affix the unit to the top of my F-350 and not blow off at highway speed as well as bumpy offroad treks. The Bolton Technical Tri-Mag Mount did the job and held tight to my highly waxed truck roof. The threads matched my antenna mount and performed flawlessly! I am very pleased with this mount and highly recommend it for Overlanders and Outdoorsmen/Outdoorswomen!

It’s great until you’re traveling on the freeway going into the wind. I had to pull over and stow it inside

Did not work for me
The magnets certainly hold well. The problem I am having is I'm using an antenna that mounts directly to the 3/8" x 24 mount on top of the aluminum plate. On the underside is an SO-239 UHF connector. I have to use a 90 degree adapter to attach the PL259 connector to the SO239 connector. Simply, there isn't enough clearance underneath to accommodate these connectors. I now have a $100 piece that is worthless to me.

Great Product
We had searched high and low throughout our area for a magnetic base for my husbands Wi-Fi booster and came up empty handed. I go on Amazon and with a bit of searching found exactly what we needed. We couldn't be more pleased.

No adaptor
Ordered it once, no adapter. Ignorered by Bolton support so I returned it and ordered a replacement. No adapter again.

You need to ADD spacers to fit coax connector.
At first I was really ticked off as I was trying to mount a four foot Firestik antenna. There is nowhere near enough room to mount coax connector underneath even with a 90 degree connector. Before I shipped it back, I tried adding steel washer as spacers and it worked. Four washers per bolt, using a ninety degree coax connector..
