Nice speakers
Trust 2.1 speaker set is lovely and of good quality. However, I have some reservations. 1. The speaker I way smaller in size than I thought. Please can Amazon team but a clear size description for future buyers. 2. The size however is good If you want to use the speaker for only laptop and desk top, but for TV and Games, I would prefer something bigger. 3. The sound quality on TV is okay, however when connected to phone and laptop it's lounder and the quality of Bass is fantastic. I guess this particular size was specifically made for desktop and laptop as inscribed on the box. In general its a good quality and value for money.

Good Value For £££'s
Surprisingly good sound for such a cheap set of speakers. Bass is good via the separate sub woofer but the two small speakers sounds a bit weak. In a nutshell it's better than the speakers from my Macbook Pro. The speakers are also powered via USB so its quite portable.

Surprisingly good for a compact set of speakers
I bought this after the main speakers I use on my PC developed a fault. I was looking for something doesn't distort with a bit of bass has a decent volume levels to drown out the background noise when I'm working. That's what I've got. The subwoofer box connected to the computer using a 3.5mm stereo jack for analogue audio and a USB cable for power. The tweeters plug into the subwoofer using RCA connectors. All of the controls are on the subwoofer itself, so It's a bit inconvenient to change the settings if the subwoofer is on the floor (as mine is). My solution was to set the volume and bass on the subwoofer to something comfortable and then use the controls on the computer to make any adjustments there. Given the size of the units and the price I wasn't expecting stellar performance, but I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised by this product. The sound is clear and as the power is all coming from a USB port - in my case directly hitched in to the computer - there's no extra power supply needed. There's no mains hum that I can detect setting it up the way I have it. My only gripe is that the cables to connect the subwoofer box to the computer could do with being a little longer, but this is easily dealt with by buying an extension cable - Amazon has a good selection and that's where I ended up.

Just The Job
I purchased these for a computer I have just made up for my grandson to play Fortnight. I tried them out yesterday after building the computer and they are really amazing for the size and for the money. Don't expect fantastic blow your head off speakers as they will not do that but they are really good for £17. The little bass box is good too and all the power comes from a USB socket. Ideal really as I have put some USB sockets that do stay on even when the computer is off but I have also added a couple that do go off with the computer and is ideal for these speakers as there is no power switch to turn on or off. Very light in weight and the build quality is not particularly good for a "Trust" item. It gets 3 stars from me as the build quality is very Hong Kongy. Had the build quality been better I would have given 5 stars as they are really good for the price. Don't let the build quality put you off and this is just my opinion.

Great value for casual users.
I bought my wife a new PC and thought these would be a step up from the tinny monitor speakers. Let's face it, you're not going to get high-end, reference quality audio for £25 but these are pretty good. The bass is a little boomy, turned right up, but overall I'm very happy with these; they give a clear sound with decent stereo imaging. Perhaps most importantly, they're not so loud that they'll annoy the neighbours!

Don't expect much
It's a lot smaller than it looks on the pictures. Also it's usb power and not mains powered with plug. The sound is ok, nothing majorly loud, the bass speaker only has a tiny speaker underneath, so not massive amounts of bass or power, it does for elderly people on pc or a kid on a game. Ideall for a kid who's parent doesn't want a lot of boom boom boom. Solid 4 out of 10 score, don't expect much

Third rate and short lived performance
They were bought to replace a Logitech system at short notice. Initially OK, short of things like speaker cable length, tolerable sound but soon the interference from one speaker in particular heralded it's demise. I have stumbled along with one speaker so that at least I can listen to people speaking. I am now looking to replacement and at the current prices will have to take a chance with second hand. I cannot bring myself to buy this cheap un'Trust'worthy kit again. To many episodes of frustration incurred.
