Great Soundtrack!
Such a great soundtrack - brings you right back into the series. It contains Angie Hart’s “Blue” which is such a beautiful song (and is so hard to find elsewhere!)

It's great... But you already knew that.
Let's be honest. The reason you are even considering buying this CD is because you are a Buffy fan. You're remembering really liking that song in whatever episode(s) and are hoping that this CD will scratch that itch. It does. All too often, a song that you hear on a show or in a movie does not stand well on its own. You remember really liking the song, but when you get the CD you're disappointed because what you really liked was the cinematic moment. I'm happy to say that all of the songs on this compilation stand well on their own. That they may also recall a happy Buffy moment is gravy. My only ding on this 5-star album is its liner notes. No lyrics was a bummer.

which one to buy?
the US version has fewer songs but includes two great ones that are left out of the import version - while that one has nine different songs that make it a more fulfilling package. I'm sure they do this on purpose to drive some diehard fans into buying both. I strongly suggest MP3 and downloading but if that's not an option - go for the import. However, this CD does stand alone as a worthwhile purchase as it includes some great tunes from all of the seasons and you don't have to be a fan to appreciate good music.

Steve's Review
I found this album in my search for the music used on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and I bought this album for the same reason I bought the other one. I'm a big fan of the music they used on the show and there are some good songs on this album like Blue by Angie Hart and Pavlov's Bell by Aimee Mann both used in season seven episodes. If you are a Buffy fan or a 90s rock fan then I highly recommend this album as well, you won't be disappointed.

What to say... great music
I bought this soundtrack especially for Robert Duncan's The Final Fight. When I heard it in Chosen, the last episode of BtVS, I was amazed... Then I listened to the album from the beginning and fell in love with it... Sarah McLachlan, Aimee Mann, Angie Hart, The Dandy Warhols, what more could you want... Great artists on a great soundtrack album. If you're a true BtVS fan, than I really recommend this.

The soundtrack of the later Buffy seasons
Following up from the original CD of music from the series, Radio Sunnydale is mostly music from the later half of the show, plus notably Cibo Matto’s Sugar Water, from the notorious ‘sexy dance’ scene from the opening episode of season 2.If you enjoyed the incidental music and the live bands from the Bronze featured in BTVS seasons 5–7, or even if you just want to know what unsigned and smaller LA and nearby bands and artists sounded like around 2000, this album is for you.
