Small and expensive but the best Keto bread i have ever come across.
I have tried every Keto bread ever made at some point and none has ever been that great and i just gave up looking in the end.I saw this ridiculously expensive bread and thought well what the heck I’ll give it a go. Firstly, you see the loaf is very small so with the price and size you have to be not bothered about value to be happy with getting this bread. Right now, for the review I took out the first slice and although nice and soft it has a strong smell that I did not like, I buttered the slice and took a bite it had no strong taste which was pleasant enough but it was so chewy and an unpleasant texture couldn’t eat it. SO WHY THE 5 STARS? Well, I took out a second slice and toasted it and the smell went away, the chewiness went away and the taste and texture were now fine. This Keto bread is just like a normal bread when toasted and that’s something no other Keto bread I have come across can claim.

The Bread of the Century
I came here to say... Oh my fudging god.Been on keto 3 years, made various lists which are too much hassle. Bought all the just common types of keto bread. They are fine, some of them just too thin or dry to be functional, they just disappear like a couple of crisps in your mouth.I got two loaves two days ago and nearly finished the first loaf because I can't stop eating it. It's like going back in time whem I could buy a very naughty white sliced loaf of fresh bread and it would be so good you could eat it with just butter on it. You could squish it, dip it in soup, toast it, make a cheeky chicken or cheese sandwich and it is so soft it really works.I'm poor, so what I suggest to those who find this pricey, is that you should get it for the freezer and keep it as a treat. When you've got a cold and need soup and bread, or just feel too tired to cook, or want a treat, going on a picnic... It's so good to have thisThe slices are on the small side but not as small as other well known brands. This product, is simply amazing. You will not regret buying it, but you might find it hard to save it for treats. But since I've found keto wrap recipes I won't need to have this special bread too often. This is a genuine message from a Scotts menopausal woman with M.E who's on keto because it provides better energy and stops me getting fat when I can't move much.

Very nice!
I have been on a keto diet for a year, and lost shed loads of weight. However, I have really missed bread and bought several brown keto loaves, which were nice, but I prefer this white loaf. The only thing that I don't like is the ludicrous price.Update: I have now discovered how to make reasonable keto bread in a bread maker for a fraction of the price. Keto Bread Maker RecipeIngredients (for a standard loaf):Vital Wheat Gluten Flour: 1 1/4 cups (150g)Almond Flour: 1 cup (100g)Coconut Flour: 2 tbsp (15g)Flaxseed Meal: 1/4 cup (25g) (optional, adds structure and fiber)Instant Yeast: 2 tspWarm Water: 1 cup (240ml), about 110°F (43°C)Olive Oil: 2 tbspEggs: 2 largeSweetener: 1 tsp (like erythritol, optional for flavor balance)Salt: 1 tspXanthan Gum: 1 tsp (for better structure)Instructions:Activate the Yeast:In a small bowl, mix the warm water, yeast, and sweetener. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until frothy.Combine Dry Ingredients:In a large mixing bowl, combine vital wheat gluten flour, almond flour, coconut flour, flaxseed meal (if using), xanthan gum, and salt. Mix well.Prepare the Wet Ingredients:Beat the eggs lightly and mix with olive oil.Load the Bread Maker:Add the wet ingredients (eggs and oil) to the bread maker pan first.Pour in the yeast mixture.Add the dry ingredients on top.Select the Bread Maker Setting:Choose the basic or white bread cycle on your bread maker. If there's a setting for a low-carb or gluten-free loaf, you can use that too.Set the crust color preference (light or medium works best).Let It Rise:Vital wheat gluten gives it elasticity, so the dough should rise well. If your bread maker allows, check during the first kneading stage to ensure the dough is forming a ball. If it’s too dry, add a tablespoon of water. If too wet, sprinkle in a little almond flour.Cool Before Slicing:Once done, remove the loaf and let it cool completely on a wire rack before slicing. This prevents crumbling.

For the more serious low carb eater
I like the look of this bread and it is nice and soft. However, it is very different to regular bread. It has a different texture, taste and smell. I think if you toast it and disguise it under beans then it is not too bad.I guess I am just hoping for too much really.

Game changer!
Oh wow this bread is so good. I’d tried a few batches of 90 second microwave mug bread but revolting each time. Saw the Heylo range and though it’s expensive I thought I’d try it. It arrived yesterday and I tried a single slice of toast. For ‘me’ it’s pretty much like regular white bread!! Soft, toasts nicely, tastes delicious toasted. Today I made a cheese and ham toastie. I don’t count the butter, Gouda cheese and ham as they’re all virtually no carb. So just 2 net grams of carbs for this toastie (I allow myself 20g net carbs for my keto metrics)? Unbelievable. Almost too good to be true. The only catch I can see is that it’s NOT GLUTEN FREE. So if you’re gluten intolerant or coeliac it’s no good for you. I do feel a little ‘bloated’ relatively since I ate the toastie about half an hour ago but I haven’t had any gluten intolerant my diet for a couple of months. I’ll freeze this bread and have toasties etc sparingly. If it means I can have a toastie or a bacon sarnie rather than ordering a dirty McDonalds etc it’s an absolute win. I’m flying tomorrow - extremely early flight - so I’m going to make up some cheese, ham, mustard mayo sandwiches for the flight so I don’t have to resort to the carby rubbish served up by the airline. As you can probably tell, I’m a big fan and absolutely recommend this bread (I’ve only tried the white)
