HTH Swimming Pool Care 3" Chlorine Tabs Advanced, Individually Wrapped Tablets

I primarily use these chlorine tablets during the winter months when my pool water temperature drops too low for my salt cell to generate chlorine. Once the water gets cold, my salt system stops producing chlorine, so I switch to using these tablets to maintain sanitation through the winter. I typically place one or two tablets in the skimmer basket and allow them to dissolve slowly. They work well for maintaining chlorine levels without needing to constantly add liquid chlorine. One thing I like is that the tablets come individually wrapped, which helps keep moisture out and makes them easy to store between seasons. Since I only use them during the colder months, one bucket lasts me several winter seasons. Pros: • slow dissolving tablets • individually wrapped for easy storage • good backup for saltwater pools in winter Cons: • tablets should be stored in a cool dry place If you have a saltwater pool, these are a great option to keep on hand for winter when the salt system shuts down.

Pool tablets are amazing for keeping our pool cystal clear.. we buy this every spring... put them in the floater and let them do the job... great value for the money.... easy to use... makes my pool stay pretty all summer long.

Work better than some cheaper products. These really do a great job of keeping water clean and at right levels. i bought some off brand ones that just did not work at all. Quality does matter.

These Tabs worked well in my Hayward CL200 Chlorinator. They lasted about a week with the CL200 set at 2, but my Water Test showed slightly under 1.0 PPM. So I've changed the CL200 setting from 2 to 4. If I can get to between 1-4 PPM, with Tabs that last 5 or more days without disintegrating, I'll be happy and do a little fine tuning from there. Sustained 2.0 PPM would be outstanding. In a container of 10 individually wrapped Tabs, 1 was broken. In my humble opinion, I think the broken Tabs are more of a shipper-handling problem than a MFG problem. Perhaps a layer of Bubble Plastic in the Container bottom would help. For now, I am satisfied with the product.
