A new product for me that helps retain the moisture in my hanging baskets.
I read up that coir peat was perfect for retaining moisture when mixed with compost so I though I would mix the two and use them for my hanging baskets. The block was easy to brake in half so I would not waist it when mixing. I put the coir peat in a bucket with some warm water this help break down the brick and get it ready for uses. By using a bucket I could control the amount of water I needed to brake it up ready for uses. Very easy then to add compost to the bucket and begins using it. I have really noticed the difference. My hanging baskets look great this year.
