My new Surface Pro 65W Laptop Charger Adapter works beautifully. It charges my laptop smooth and fast as it was meant to, to full capacity with no issues. The cable is longer than the ordinary charger cables, which allows for more manoeuvrability, and is compatible with many different Surface laptops. This charger also has a USB port where you can plug in and charge another device, like your phone, at the same time. This doesn't interrupt the charging of the laptop, as this charger adapter is quite powerful and is of a high quality.This charger has short circuit, over-voltage, over-current and internal overheating protection. Along with the fact that it isn't bulky, so it fits easily in many cases/bags, all of its other features make this charger adapter into the ideal replacement. I use this charger myself, and would recommend to anyone looking for a better replacement.

Nothing more to say, really, works like the original and is great to have at home instead of lugging the charger around.

I got this to replace another non-Microsoft charger that only lasted only 6 months. This one looks well made but only time will tell if it lasts longer than the last one. Unfortunately the mains cable would not fit the charger but as the cable from the old charger is perfectly fine it was easy to swap the cables over. The charge time looks good (see graph) this charger is the right hand peak in the graph (also dated today). Good length of cables and includes the USB socket for charging a phone etc. The USB is only 1A so won't fast charge devices.

Works well, great to have a spare on the office

used this on my go gen 1 and works fine and has now become my travle plug as it has a usb built in so i can charge my phone off teh same plug too, great on trains as sit less messy cable and plugs every where.the mag holds well like the OEM plug and the cable is a good length too.
