how much does this cover?

Coverage for Polyvine Decorator's Varnish is 150 to 200 sq ft per quart (liter). The size pictured is 500 ml, which is about a pint. The coverage for a pint (500ml) would be half that of the quart; 75 to 100 sq ft. The coverage will vary depending on porosity and whether or not the product is thinned. Thinning the first coat (about 10%) is recommended for use on unsealed plaster or raw timber.

Has anyone used this product on painted walls? am i right that i can be used on walls? thanks.

Yes you can use it on painted walls. It would bean excellent protective finish on murals. It comes in different sheen finishes. I used it in my bathroom and kitchen. I painted my walls semi gloss and had a small architectural wallpaper border put up. I used the semi gloss Polyvine on my border to protect it from moisture, heat, etc. and it also protects it from fading.
