This was a gift and the person was delighted with it.

This book continues where the last one left off and we are introduced to a potential love triangle where Cyrus, the ruler of Tulan, offers Alizeh his kingdom in exchange for marriage and murder. We learn more about the supporting characters (which all feel a bit pathetic to be honest) and we grow more and more distant from Kamran. I feel like I can see where some of this is going now but I hope I’m wrong as it would be nice if this series isn’t predictable. I found myself a bit frustrated by the fact that all the main characters never seem to know the same information at the same time and again, not much happened plot wise. It takes the whole book to get to where it was obviously going at the end of book 2 and I wanted more from the story. I will continue the series as I already have the next book on my Kindle.

This book…boy oh boy, had me turning page after page after page page - the slow burn is sooo good. But now I have to wait for what? Book four? Torture. Utter torture But I’ll gladly wait.
