Excellent watch!
I've had it for a few weeks now and really enjoy it. It has solar capabilities for those of us who go outside occasionally as well as a charger cord for those who don't. I have had this one a few weeks now with no need to put it on the charger as I go for outdoor walks occasionally. It has ton's of easy to use features. I haven't used them all but quite frequently use the step counter and the heart rate monitor. It's a nice looking watch, G-Shock toughness but is comfortable to wear. The band on the watch is one of the first I have had without needing to buy a larger size. The stock band is big enough for most adult males and has many smaller holes for additional adjustments. The buttons are big and easy to use. It's nice to have as it lets me know when I have phone calls at work with a soft vibration as I keep my personal ringers off at work. You can get other alerts as well, text, YouTube etc.. It comes with the ability to change the watch faces by downloading the software to your phone which is easy to use as well. It has 4 different faces currently with the fourth being customizable. I have yet to learn many of the features but this is the watch for me! I hope you get one and enjoy it too.

Better than what I expected!
I was afraid it would be a big bulky watch without the fitness info i was hoping for, but no. It is way more realistic in size, perfect actually. Between the watch and the app, everything i would ever want to know is there for me. this thing (after customizing) will show you what cardio zone you are in (1-5) while you are walking/running/biking; i love that!! Mine came new, but no alarms or timers ever sounded (you can't hear the alarm even though it went off). the watch isn't broke, you have to go into the watch settings and adjust the "notifications" for the alarms to sound aloud. Not the app, the watch itself. Happy i did not return it. if anything is weird, keep reading the manual and get to know the watch and the app both. It is better than i expected and i love it.! Another thing to note is that previous models of fitness watches had a big 4mm buldge for the sensors to smash into your flesh on your wrist to get sensor readings from your veins etc. not this one! It is flat, when it hits your skin, NICE! I give it 5 out of 5, or 10 out of 10, i love it and have no regrets!

A lot of smart Watch features
I’m recently a G-shock fan and enjoy this g-shock move it’s the second version. It’s light and so far seems durable for working outside physical labor jobs. I also like the step counter and calorie or energy use numbers. Everything works well but it’s not a full smart watch like an Apple Watch. But who cares, anyway the only thing I did like is if light isn’t directly hitting my watch it’s hard to see. Now that’s minimal but I feel like these negative displays aren’t that great. I do like how it has solar charging also and not just wall charging. Because with me usually working outdoors I haven’t had to charge this but once or twice and it didn’t even need it.

After one day with it, it’s not looking good
Comes charged and the screen is nice. The instructions with it are written so small you need a microscope to read. Used YouTube vids to help me pair it. I bought this to use while running and hiking specifically. The app looked like it was a step up over my Fitbit. Problem is that the app that I down loaded doesn’t even recognize this phone. Why release it if the apps are not up to date. With out the app this watch is useless to me and will be returned. I’m still researching when time permits to make sure that I’m not making an error but it’s just not looking good for this watch at this point. It’s a bit too bulky and complicated for and either the app issue not solved yet I can tell you that this watch will be returned without being worn if I don’t find a resolution soon. I should also add that I selected 6 month’s interest free and was the charged the full price at once. I can afford it but still not happy with that.

Compared to a Garmin Tactix Delta..
I have a Garmin Tactix Delta, and I bought this G-Shock to compare it to since my current workplace doesn’t allow smartwatches/fitness tracking style watches, and I wanted a sleeper watch that had the capabilities of one, but no one questions if a G-Shock has those features. So I tried it… Although, I love how light the G-Shock is compared to the Garmin, you don’t feel it on your wrist & it’s more comfortable to sleep with. The Garmin is superior in every way.. HR Monitor, GPS Nav, fitness tracking, endless different watch faces, the app is superior as well. The G-Shock’s HR monitor jumps all over the place sometimes, it often overestimates my actual HR as well. Kinda unusable data.. it could just be my unit thats defective, but they need to update that current HR Monitor. I do like how more protective the G-Shock to bumps & scratches. I dropped my Garmin once & some of the buttons are a little wonky. But the mineral glass smudges way too easily on the G-Shock compared to the Garmin’s Sapphire glass. Overall, the G-Shock is lighter & more protected/durable than the Garmin, but the Garmin is better in every other way. Not to mention the price, $320 for a smartwatch/fitness tracker that isn’t too amazing at anything it does. Just mid at everything. If it was priced at like $150-$200 it would be a good deal. But for $320+ you can pick up much better options like a Garmin Instinct 2 & it’ll be better at everything. Even the G-Shock’s bluetooth is wonky, you have to keep your watch right next to your phone, and even then sometimes it doesn’t connect. I think Casio overestimates how good this product is, but quite frankly its outdated & outclassed by its competitors on the market. I would wait until theres a mega sale of this watch, then it’ll be worth it imo.

Good watch for G-Shock old-school fans
Great watch. It's a G-Shock; durable, sturdy, reliable, with great battery life for a smart watch, and nice-looking. All reviews mention problems with the app, but I'm focusing only on the watch. It's got a bunch of features, but I really wanted it because of its looks and because I want to track my steps with a watch that can handle intense workouts and while doing repairs at home. The only complaint I would mention is that it's not RED, it's more orange. The G-Shock website shows it's orange, so Amazon is not depicing it correctly. Still, I Love it.
