Awesome books, I am on book ONE, but it feels like I am going to go through all of them in a few month) Before I knew only how to read arabic and didn't understand it at all, BUT learning by this book woken up my interest in learning and helped me to start somewhere. Simple and step by step layout of the book makes it easier to learn. The chapters written in arabic and each chapter followed by English explanation of the grammar points. It is nice to have someone to explain or practice with, but if you don't, your effort and explanation on the back of the chapters will help you get it through) There is also a youtube videos based on this book. It is also possible to find some free worksheets correlated to this book on the web to have more practice. If you study by yourself the only thing you should know BEFORE starting this books is how to read arabic (and you don't have to read fluently, just make sure to know how to recognize the letters and blend the sounds together because the book don't have phonetic pronunciation of the words).**the only thing is the books I received don't have boy and girl on the cover, I think it is a newer version of the books because I got covers with circles on it) But my friend has the boy and girl on the cover and I didn't notice any difference yet. Also I am not sure what is cheaper set of five or buying one by one...The point is no matter what cover of the book the insides are more important)

This product is definitely worth the money. I am a beginner and know the arabic alphabet and reading rules. I bought the set of five books to gain practice in reading and to learn vocabulary. These books should do that for me. I would suggest that you also locate audio tapes for these books as they have been helpful to me. The seller did a great job getting this product to me in record time and good condition.
