This was a life changer for my 12-year-old son. We have tried everything to cure his canker sores as well as change his diet. This is the only thing that has not only healed but prevented him from getting more canker sores. He was living with canker sores. Having 3 to 4 in his mouth at a time and unable to eat all the foods that he loves . I highly recommend! The pills could taste better but still do not taste terrible.

My 12 year old son struggles with cold sores since around 6 years old. He had 2 going for a couple weeks and with a last ditch effort ordered this. Literally was 90% better after 2 doses! He said it tastes horrible but he just takes a big bite of yogurt after in his mouth. The taste is tolerable compared to the pain and embarrament he has when a cold sore appears. Definitely going to make it routine for prevention also.

2022- Doctor recommended lysine for my toddler. He kept getting ulcers inside his mouth. Several at a time. He was always in pain. Dentist recommended blood work ect. It came back clear from our family doctor. Glad I found these. They taste horrible! But just one when an any of my kids get an ulcer. By the next day they aren’t hurting no soreness and it goes away quickly. My youngest ( one who got the sores all the time) now don’t hardly ever even get any.! We only give if one is trying to pop up. So happy with this product minus one star for flavor. Update 3 years later Still work! If any of my kiddos get a sore in mouth or even myself and my husband we take these! No one gets them as often and one bottle last our family of 5.. 3 years now! Now family is use to taste. The kids and us take them without any complaints now.

My son gets cold sores 90% of the time in the fall and winter. I was searching for a way to cut the healing time down. This has helped not only keep the cold sores away but help cut the healing process down drastically. He does not mind the taste, reading the reviews I was hesitant that he would not take it due to the taste. He has had it both orally and dissolved in milk or juice and does not have a preference in which way he prefers to take it. I normally crush this and wait a few minutes for this to dissolve in a small glass. If your child suffers from cold sores and you are looking for a remedy don’t hesitate to try this!

My kiddo doesn't love the flavor....I thought she was being EXTRA but she wasn't. It tasted like the underside of an alligator! She has been chewing and chasing with orange juice, just to see if it works for her ulcers. So far one week down and no new ulcers so that is a win... If it works we can keep chasing with OJ!

Taste good

I've been ordering these religiously for years now. My son had to do multiple rounds of Acyclovir for his cold sores. He would get at least 20 per year. Since he started taking these vitamins he gets maybe only 5 per yr and they don't last nearly as long. I would recommend these to anyone. He's nearly 15, could take the regular adult vitamins now but refuses because he loves these.

My 4yo gets cold sores so we got this for him to take intermittently or when he gets a cold sore starting to develop. It works really well for that. He also recently had a huge planters wart on his foot that was not really responding to the typical topical wart meds (we spent 3 months trying to get rid of it). So I started giving him this lysine and it was amazing — his body finally kicked in and started fighting off the wart. Within 2 weeks of him taking this lysine the wart was gone. He doesn’t love the taste but he tolerates it.
