There are a number of these handwarmers around at the moment at varying prices, but all essentially identical. This is (at the time of writing) the cheapest at just under £10 - but its worth shopping around.Anyway - my son got one at Christmas and was so impressed he bought another for a friend on their birthday.if you are used using the gel-based handwarmers (for sports events, winter walks etc.) this is like emerging from the dark ages into the light. Those old gel things are a pain to recharge, and don't stay warm that long - and once you press the button on them there is no stopping them. This is a different world.To begin with recharging this is way easier. No more bubbling saucepans of water - just plug it in with a USB cable (it takes a couple of hours or so to fully recharge).In use its about the same size as the gel handwamers (about 4"x2" - bigger than I expected), and while it is cold aluminium when off it warms up very quickly (less than 30 seconds) - and at the lowest setting stays warm long enough for a full rugby match.Overall there are three settings, with the lowest about the same as the old gel warmer while the highest is like holding a freshly made hot drink cup in your hand. But the great thing is you can turn it off - and it cools down as quickly as it heats up, The package comes with a cloth carry bag (not entirely sure why), and a wrist strap to avoid it being dropped.Then - as a bonus - it can also work as a phone charger.All in all a brilliant little product.

For between an hour and an hour and a half, it works well to keep hands warm.This is not long enough for a clay shoot in cold weather.I have repeatedly charged and discharged the device fully, to see if it made any difference, but nothing changed.I have no idea how long it is supposed to work, as no such information was available at point of sale.I assumed it would last for a few hours.

On first use I thought it was good, particularly as I have Raynauds syndrome. I had tried it indoors and it warmed up quite well - but only once. I tried using it properly this past weekend as the weather was cold but it only gets lukewarm. It’s not warm enough to heat up my hands when they turn blue as only the middle seems to heat up. It certainly isn’t hot enough to use the bag it comes with as the heat hardly permeates at all. I’m therefore returning it.

On first use I'm very pleased as the unit remained hot for 4 hours. The only problem is that the instruction leaflet has been very poorly translated and almost impossible to follow. I had to spend time searching on the Internet to try to find out how to use.

Ideal for my carpel tunnel BUT it takes a lot more than 5 hrs to charge 7 hrs already and still charging medium heat is ideal

Not as good as it seems.Power button went into device so rendering it useless 2nd time I used it.Returned it

Very clean and efficient hand warmer,it gets nice and hot therfor it must be kept in its bag. No mess having to light it. Not had a chance to use the power bank yet.

I am really pleased with this product so far. Have only used it a couple of times, but it kept really warm for almost 4 hours, which I wasn’t expecting.
