Without this part I would had to replace the ceiling fan. Was easy to install, follow the video, and works just like the original.

An exact replacement for the old switch. Easy to install and the fan works like new.

It works as a replacement for the kte 3089 in the picture from a small ceiling fan. Didn't install it myself so don't know how easy that is. Both have numbers for the wires so it may be a simple as matching the wires to the numbers when changing. Was a lot quicker to buy this from Amazon instead of waiting over a month for the correct one from Ali express that never showed..

It was not the fault of the switch but getting the wiring right was a challenge. Next time I will write the switch numbers on the wires before I remove the old switch.
