I suffer with arthritis and carpal tunnel, beeen having real problems with my left hand especially thumb. Only just received this so early days, but so far it seems perfect, I ordered S/M size which is just right, a nice snug fit but not over tight to be uncomfortable. Haven't tried wearing it all night yet but it really helps with knitting, holds my thunb nice and firm. The velcro sticks very well, it is breathable and feels like good quality, no friction discomfort or sweating. Out of the three I've owned (different brands) this is definitely the best one, appears easy to wash also which is a bonus. Not had any numbness or tingling while knitting since using this so I'm a happy bunny.

This is a great fit and the Velcro bands allow for good adjustment so you get flexibility in how tight you want it to be. The support allows for good finger mobility and tip of thumb, while providing significant thumb immobilisation to prevent the sharp pain of tendinitis. It’s comfortable to wear for several hours at a time.

I pulled my thumb trying to push up a heavy box onto a top shelf a month ago and I've been in so much pain when moving the thumb in certain parts since its actually kept me up as I move around in my sleep the jolt was waking me up. This fixed that, the thumb was fixed in position with a very small amount of wiggle room and the relief was profound even after just a few minutes of wearing it, I could now relax both my hand and arm without worrying about knocking the thumb, and after about 30 minutes it felt good, clearly not fixed by any means but it was and is the support I've needed. I've been using it for a little while now and my hand is much better now. I've gone from wearing it most of the day and night to only needing it sometimes in the day and wearing it at night and that difference it's made has been qualify of life changing. It comes in a simple zip lock bag, folded flat with a small leaflet that tries to explain how to put it on. But honestly it's 4 steps and straps that only go one way. The biggest thing is getting the tension right on the thumb itself. I prefer it just enough that my thumb can sit on, as the brace from the back of the thumb stops it from moving around. Too tight and it can start to feel like I'm cutting the circulation off to the thumb. The other strap is the hand itself, this stops the glove from moving around I like this quite tight so the thumb brace stays in place on the back, and then the wrist strap stops it sliding up and down, this is more of a cuff than anything but combined it provides a really good support for the hand and thumb that works really well. I'm still able to use the keyboard with it on, albeit with a lack of thumb on my right hand. But you really don't realise how much you miss thumbs until you can't use them. It's pink too, lovely baby pink that goes well with my clothes so it doesn't stand out too much. Very happy with it, and its help with my thumb.

They're great support but for one thing: the bottom 2 ties would work better if they were closed in opposing directions. My wrist is healing well with the support on though. Thank you.

Give great support for my thumbs. Velcro a bit too strong for me but stays in place. Have arthritis in both thumbs. And had carpal tunnel operation in right hand. Good support after op. Quality good and wash well.

I have had 2 of these now for several weeks and thy are a real treasure. Hold my wrists and thumb securely. Easy to use and adjust by myself, the strapping stretches to fit without needing any strength. They don't catch on all my clothes like the other, NHS velcro ones do. I can wash them by hand or in the washing machine and they dry quickly. They are a great help and Im delighted with them.

This is a very pretty and I'm sure very useful support for some. But I have arthritis at the base of my left thumb and I have small but fleshy hands. When I put it on, it felt too long on my hand for comfortable use and also, no matter how tight it was, my hand went into a throbbing pain, as if it was leaning on a nerve. But saying that, I think it would work better for people who have long fingers and I'm keeping it in case a friend might need a wrist support sometime, because it is well made. Hope that's not too confusing.

I ordered this thumb splint as I'm displaying symptoms of trigger thumb/thumb tendinitis. I thought I would try this to see if it gives me any relief which it did immediately by immobilising my thumb. It's comfortable to wear and doesn't restrict any of my other fingers, just the thumb with the support splint inside. The colour is nice also, a pretty baby pink with a grey border. I've just put it on today and already it's given me pain-relief without having to take any medication! It is very effective and the velcro is strong! Durable and does the job! Very happy with my purchase! :)

Sehr guter Sitz und die nötige Stabilität ohne zu drücken..Durch die individuelle Einstellungen der Klettbänder kann man mehr mal weniger Druck ausüben. Sehr gut verarbeitet und hilfreich bei Problem im Daumensattelgelenk. Angenehm leicht zu tragen. Trage üblicherweise Handschuhgröße 8. Passt perfekt. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

M'a soulagé instantanément, un vrai bonheur, voilà plusieurs semaines que je traînait cette maudite tendinite. Ne bloque pas les mouvements non plus, parfait pour ce que j'ai mais peut ne pas convenir si vous avez besoin d'être complètement immobilisé pour une fracture par exemple. Disons que c'est utile pour ne pas faire de faux mouvements douloureux, très bien pour dormir aussi, je me réveille sans aucune douleur. C'est le deuxième que je prends ( j'en ai un pour le sport, ça laisse le temps de sécher la transpiration ) convient pour main droite et gauche, j'ai des poignets normaux en taille, me va parfaitement, c'est réglable donc je pense que ça peut convenir à beaucoup de tailles différentes. Je ne laisse pas souvent de bons commentaires car on achète souvent des choses inutiles ou nulles ou carrément fragiles et mal faites, là c'est vraiment bon, ça fait le job et agréable à porter, je recommande à 100% et j’espère ne bientôt plus avoir à l'utiliser, c'est en bonne voie grâce à cet achat :)

Na 3 weken kwam de balijn bij de duim er al uitzetten bij de stof. Juist die balijn is belangrijk voor de steun. Ik zal helaas de brace terug moeten sturen.
