My dogs got ahold of both my controllers and I was able to fix them pretty easily. I looked up the extremerate video on YouTube for instructions and it was very straightforward! And I learned a new skill! The only negative is the little blue plastic tool to help pry the parts off got messed up so it was hard to use on the 2nd controller but otherwise it wasn't bad.

I don't know how easy it is to see in my before and after photos, but I ordered these to replace the joysticks after my puppy chewed the grips off the original ones. The damage only affected the cosmetics and comfort, but the controller was still fully functional.After the replacement, I can't feel any difference between this controller and my other one that has not been chewed up.I am familiar with replacing phone screens, so I would rate the level of difficulty on this repair fairly low. The video instructions were easy to follow. The most difficult part for me was getting some of the clips to unsnap to separate the top of the housing from the bottom to open the controller.

It may seem intimidating, opening up your controller and repairing sensitive electronics. Put your fears to rest. These parts are much tougher than one might think, and are much easier still to replace. The package contains all the tools you need, though if you have a set of electronics screwdrivers (they're like $10-$15 at lowes or here on Amazon), they'll help.My youngest got ahold of three of my PS5 controllers and chewed the padding off the thumbsticks. Superficial covers or replacements just didn't cut it. These replacements were the best solution I found. Highly recommended.

You get what you see and they fit great on my controller. It was easy to install. They sturdy and can take punishment. No flake of the rubber. The grips still feel new after a few months of heavy use. Super cheap. They’re low key so they don’t look cheap.
