The complete first season of the US legal drama that follows the cases of a pair of New York lawyers, only one of whom attended law school. After becoming a senior law partner at one of New York's top law firms, Harvey Spectre (Gabriel Macht) discovers he has to recruit an associate from Harvard Law School. By chance, he ends up hiring gifted college-dropout Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), even though Mike never actually attended law school, and relies on his photographic memory and quick wits to help him win cases. The episodes comprise: 'Pilot', 'Errors and Omissions', 'Inside Track', 'Dirty Little Secrets', 'Bail Out', 'Tricks of the Trade', 'Play the Man', 'Identity Crisis', 'Undefeated', 'The Shelf Life', 'Rules of the Game' and 'Dog Fight'. Review: A not-to-be-missed series! - I have pre-ordered this series on DVD - and am counting the days until it is issued! I hadn't heard of 'Suits' until a friend mentioned it on her website. Her recommendation made me decide I'd keep an eye out for it airing here in the UK. I was really excited when I saw it was being shown on Dave.(Although it surely deserves a wider audience!) From the start I was hooked. I freely admit that I watched both the original airing and then watched the repeat a couple of days later - for every episode! So, what is so good about 'Suits'? Well, I could say that the writing is sharp. The plot-lines are strong. The characterisation is spot-on. Characters are well-rounded and develop throughout the series. The show redefines 'witty' with breathtaking dialogue between the main characters. The music for the series is seriously good.....and all these reasons are true, and valid reasons for buying the DVD....but there's more!... I could point out that Gabriel Macht is ueber-hot. Which he is. And well worth the price of the DVDs all by himself! But that's not the best bit... The best thing about the series is the relationship between Harvey and Mike. WOW! These guys are so much more than friends/work colleagues. They smoulder with UST! Just watch the looks that pass between them! Listen to the barely disguised innuendo in just about every conversation! (Two stand-out scenes for me have to be Harvey getting cross/upset when Mike gets high, such a strong scene and so nurturing!.....and in a later episode Harvey smirking at the imagined idea of Mike in drag when taking the LSATs for a girl! - so funny!)If you've seen the show, I think you'll know what I'm getting at! I am so looking forward to this DVD arriving - and thrilled that it has been picked up for a second series. Best TV in simply years! Review: Brilliant - Suits is about a law firm in New York and concentrates on two corporate lawyers, Harvey Specter and his rookie associate Mike Ross. There is also Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman?)who is just hilarious. It's funny, fast moving and smart. The scripts are very cleverly written and the acting is very good. This is the best American TV I have seen in the last few years; I think it could become as iconic as Friends or West Wing. It's a shame that the mainstream TV channels didn't think to snap this one up. The DVD was delivered in a short time, only three or four days.

The best series I have ever watched
I watched this series on Dave and recorded it on my Sky+ box, I kept watching every episode over and over, fast forwarding through all the adverts. The DVD has no adverts which makes viewing an even greater pleasure, the casting is superb everyone plays a fantastic part, Gabriel Macht (Harvey Specter)and Patrick J Adams (Mike Ross) the two lead parts, deserve a special mention they are both brilliant to watch.I am currently watching Season 2 on Dave which is looking even better than Season 1,with deeper and more involved story lines, which is fantastic viewing,it is up to episode 5 and I have watched all of them at least 3 times each so far,I can only say I am hooked on this series, and will buy Season 2 DVD when it is released.

"I'm against having emotions - not using them"
Harvey Specter, a sleek and gifted lawyer, is promoted and thus needs an associate. He takes a chance on Mike Ross, a hyper intelligent but borderline criminal guy that happens upon the interview by chance - and who doesn't even have a law degree. A cool and entertaining series that marries law show with comedy pretty well. The actors are very well cast and do a great job throughout. The cases are interesting even if they cross the line to unrealistic from time to time. Beware that there are no subtitles - English or otherwise - on the DVD. Extras: Outtakes Deleted scenes Commentaries with cast and crew

Best Series I bought in 2012!
This is great! This series has got you in the first minutes! Great characters, interesting cases, and the unexpected always happens - you will see! I loved the slapstick in Ally McBeal a decade before, then Danny Crane and Co made my day. The good wife topped it all, so serious and real... Now comes Suits, a little more funny because of the two great main characters and the not so far away other ones. Sorry that my english cannot express everything I want to say, but believe me: buy it, watch it love it!

Almost there
Caught between serious law drama (such as The Good Wife) and the deliberately frivolous (Ally McBeal), this series is well-written and performed and directed, but is harmed by its uneasy balancing act between straight and comedy.

Clever, witty, sharp and intelligient - legal drama with a comedy edge
Suits is a refreshingly light and entertaining take on the well-trodden legal drama genre. Compared to other more intense and heavier drama series such as CSI and Law & Order, Suits take's the ingenious approach of imbuing the legal action with comic undertones as sharp as the suits the character's wear. Based around Harvey Specter, leading partner of a big New York legal firm, and his mentor student Mike Ross, who happens to have an incredible talent for remembering and getting his head round complex legal ideas, and also happens not be a student of Harvard Law School - the basic requirement for the law firm - leads to some classic and awkward comedy moments in which Mike gets made fun of for his (lack of) knowledge about things most law students can only dream. The writing of the show is such that you're made aware of something even before you realise it, with clever one-liners and Harvey in particular making use of every legal angle to make cases go his way, in particular in the way he dangles a noose around the neck of anyone he believes has done wrong. Assisted somewhat naively but expertly by Mike Ross, who has a few personal problems of his own lurking in the background, this provides a nice twist to the drama. Ultimately, the show offers a relaxing and pleasant way to enjoy the dilemma of legal issues in the modern world, without having to sit back and take everything so seriously and pretend you understand everything. Highly recommended.

Suits U
What seemed to be another ' tv series ' has now turned into a Monster - A legal firm but there are no courts cases, no court scenes, no in-chambers discussions - just dialouge and life between the staff who run a top Manhatten corperate law firm. The writing is great, it is well-paced and stylish and all involved are power-suited, the female side very glamorous. It is a great TV series and if you like ' slick talk ' get onboard. Season Two nearing the end of its run and will be out on DVD in mid-April.
