I buy this pack every spring to replenish the grass the chickens have eaten over the winter. A pack and half does my (small) back garden with a thick yet short layer of bright green grass. Sprouts in days, growing in 2 weeks, maybe longer pending conditions.

Very green grass👍 Quite fast growing, once it gets going. So will need more mowing👎. For about 40m2 bought 5kg. Which was just about enough. However, needed to reapply a few times to fill in non-growing patches. If in doubt, buy twice as much as you need. Can always give away to impressed neighbours!

Had 4 different kind of grass seed I'd been hoarding since I bought a house and this is probably the slowest to germinate.But everything else was better germination rate/look of the lawn/ grass colour. And for the price a bargain 👍

Thanks to the warm weather in October it grew nicely by the end of the month.Good product and decent price.

Afraid it wouldn’t take as it’s getting late in the year sowed last week in October. But after 1 week is sprouting well ,hopefully will cover and thicken before frost.
