1. Quito & Ecuador North Travel Reference Map 1:12,500/660,000 Map – Folded Map, January 1, 2009

For starters it was ridiculously expensive. But more important, if one has a working knowledge of Quito, this is WAY too much detail. It would have been terrific if they could somehow have broken this into three or four "sector" type maps so that if you were really just interested in La Mariscal, say, you didn't have to see the entire city at this level of detail.

I did not expect this map to be great after reading reviews. However its a decent map but cannot be used when walking the streets of Quito. The map is very large and fun to look at when home. But if on the street of Quito this map would scream "tourist".

We needed a map to help us get around the highlands when we visit this November, and this one seems to be very thorough. I looked at the other reviews ahead of time, and they were very accurate. I would definitely get another one if this one wears out or I lose it.

This map makes it easy to get around Quito. It is a bit outdated as the airport has changed locations.

I have some friends who live in Quito, so as I was leaving I left it for them to use. Very thorough in a confusing city with many one way roads. This helped the navigation and planning of our trip!

Just what I needed for my travel. Quito city detailed on one side and northern Ecuador on the other. Large map with good readable print.

Leider gibt es kaum gute Karten für Ecuador, aber diese hat sich als besonders schlechtes Beispiel erwiesen: veraltet, irreführend und in Schnitt und Ausrichtung eine Zumutung. Nicht kaufen.
