4” straight chrome pipe. This is quality!
Someone earlier wrote about this being thin. It’s not - it’s as thick metal as you can get for this type of fitting and it was beautifully chromed. I used it for a wall mounted shower and it worked great - no leaks on first try.I’m very picky - this is perfect.

My wife and I recently re-did our bathroom and wanted to install rain shower heads. After installing the plumbing in the ceiling, this item was the stem between the plumbing and the shower heads. It looks great, works great, and even comes with a full roll of Teflon tape for the threads. This stem is packaged well, and I don't notice any mars or defects on any piece. My only issue was with tightening. I first used an inside-pipe pipe wrench from home depot to avoid any marks on the outside surface. I got them tight but they were still leaking. I tried again but the wrenches started slipping inside the pipes. Not sure if the pipe metal was too hard, or of if the wrench was too soft... So I had to tighten them using the shower head as my wrench point. Not exactly the most secure feeling in the world. But we got things working after some careful stepping.
