I am really impressed with this grass seed. I planted on August. 19th 2023. Exactly 7 days later on the 26th. I came home from work to a nice, beautiful green tint across my soon to be lawn. I am writing this review on August 31 of the same year. (12 days later) this stuff is filling in so quick. I plan on giving it it’s first cut on September 9. I will say that I did do a ridiculous amount of prep work prior to planting this grass seed, and I think that’s key to a successful germination regardless of brand, product or type. This was a complete renovation. After killing off my lawn, I then scalped it, racked it and ran over the bear dirt multiple times with my detacher. I mix this seed with a 3 to 1 ratio with Milorganite. 3 cups Milorganite to 1 cup of seed. I made sure to mix that combination thoroughly in a pail so they would both come out evenly and at the same time. I went with his combination for the sole purpose of adding volume to the seed because this grass seed is very small. I made sure to put down 3 pounds of seed per 1000 ft.² (not including the Milorganite with it). I also used a Scott’s starter fertilizer and some liquid some humic acid mix. I also have a irrigation system which is crucial to getting seed to germinate. It doesn’t matter what seed it is. If it doesn’t have water, it will not germinate. I set my irrigation system to go off four times a day for 30 minutes at a time. On the 26 of August I put down my first round of super juice and I just followed up with my second application of super juice today (August 31) I would say about 80% of the seed germinated. There was two patches in my yard that it did not germinate and I DO NOT blame the seed. It was 100% my fault. My sprinklers were over shooting that part of my property and the seed did not get adequate water for it to germinate. However, I will be over seeding these areas with the same product in a few days and I did readjust my irrigation system to make sure that these areas would get plenty of water. I am completely confident that it will come in. So far the stuff looks beautiful, and I will highly recommend it!!

Had high hopes for this and used after previous overseed with big box brand. Was hoping for a really good fill in but ended up with a lot of clover with minimal new growth. A bit disappointed

Prepped the soil and watered twice a day for three weeks. It came up beautifully

I am pretty disappointed with the results. I give it a 2 star since it did have very little Bermuda but mostly weeds. I chose this seed because the price wasn’t bad compared to most and it had great reviews as well. I am not sure what happened, but now I have to start all over. I gave it some time to see if it would get any better but It got worse. This is after a month. Will not buy again.

I spread it exactly as instructed, watered it religiously exactly as instructed, and after 6 weeks, there is not even so much as a sprout. Very disappointed.
