Regular maintenance
If you use this for regular maintenance, I think it should work well. On a system I had running for a year with orange dye, I finished two bottles following all instructions, but still ended up disassembling the loop to manually wipe the stuck dye off the blocks. I also had to use hot water and vinegar on my radiators and still saw a lot of orange come out. Morals of the story: don't use bad dye (or any at all), do maintenance more often. This product works for normal use and regular maintenance. It is by no means a miracle solution.

Use method 2
Method 1 is a waste of money. They should take that off there website. Use method 2 it make your stuff new again. Method 2 1.Install your cooling loop and double-check connections to ensure loop is “closed”. No Leaks! 2.Fill entire loop with DI or distilled water. (leave room for System Reboot) 2.Add Full bottle of the system ReBoot Pre-Treatment. 3.Top off with DI or distilled water if needed. 4.Start loop pump and begin circulating the treated solution. 5.Run treated solution for at least 24 to 48 hours to ensure loop is properly flushed and treated. While using for longer periods of time doesn't have negative effects, ReBoot is not an effective final coolant and should be replaced with coolant before any extended use of computer. 6.Drain System. Inspect drained solution for debris or foreign particles. Dispose of drained water. Repeat flush if needed. 7.Fill system with fresh DI or distilled water and flush thoroughly to remove ReBoot solution checking for foam. 8.Drain system.**. 9.Fill loop with your choice of coolant and begin water-cooling.

48 hrs minimum!
Had some gnarly algae buildup in my loop. Didn't know it til I did annual clean out. Bought this a ran the system for 2 days, almost completely removed all the algae. Had to manually clean the CPU cooler and one of the radiators but otherwise saved me a small fortune.

Essential open loop cleaner for prep.
Use this every flush, you'll never have a growth. It doesn't seem like it's much more than just soapy water but whatever it is, it's served me well.

Best I have used so far
This is by far the best cleaning solution for my custom loop I have used. My system had a small amount of growth and buildup in the CPU mono block. It was almost completely blocked up after almost 2 years of use. (Yes I know. I should never have let a loop go that long. But after about 2 hours this started to help the flow and after the full 24 hours of running there was very little buildup still stuck in the fins. I highly recommend this product. Just make sure you fully flush out the system.

Use method 2 for results.
Like anybody I bought this with low expectations. But it worked great when I used "method #2" for cleaning. They list it on their website but not on the bottle. That's fine it's a small bottle. Method 2 pretty much consisted of me dumping the whole bottle into the loop. Method 1 has you mix it into a gallon of water then fill your loop with the mix. My results where good with method 2. Ran for 48 hours, took a lot of staining off the blocks and res. It did ok the tubeing, without some decently toxic chemicals pulling stains out of tube completely is unlikely. For $5 I think it's totally worth it. Many people I'm sure overlook method #2 because they are not aware of it, and they may be the reasons for some lesser reviews.

Cleared out my white film
I was an idiot and didn't rinse out my brand new custom water cooling loop before filling it. So filled it with distilled water for a week waiting on my EK Cryofuel. Drained most of the distilled, but the EK Cryofuel in and immediately got a cloudy mess. Took 2 weeks to turn somewhat clear, but left the blocks with a white film on them, my Corsair soft tubing went a tint of yellow. Flushed the system, replaced the soft tubing with EK tubing, then did a 24hr rinse with this stuff using method 2. 24hrs later, I'd say 90% of the white film is gone. I flushed this stuff out with 3 rounds of distilled and now I'm back with some fresh EK Cryfuel and so crystal clear liquid!

Price is insane
$18 for 15 mL is mind blowing over priced.
