Great nursing shoes! Review on the white leather and brown leather
This is my second pair of Timberland PRO Renova. My first pair I found in a Marshalls by chance and they turned out being the best shoes ever. They are the white leather with a bit of a wider appearance in the toe area. A year later I still wear the white leather pair, for which, they are still in excellent condition. These are extremely comfortable shoes. I feel they are a bit more comfortable than the brown but I have worn the white for a year and they are well broken in. I wore them all last year for 12 hr shifts and my feet never hurt. By the end of my shift (from a bit of swelling from standing) they were a bit snug across the band on the top of my foot. This is expected after a long day on my feet but nothing too terrible. After repeatedly putting them on and off over the last year the band around my ankle is still as snug as when I bought them; minimal stretching if any.You will not slip in these shoes. I don't think I could make myself slip if I wanted. They have excellent traction. The leather has held up well. I wipe them off after leaving the hospital with an alcohol wipe (which I am sure is not recommended but given the germ alternative) and they still look good. I touch them up with shoe polish if I scuff them too much. The brown pair is very nice and "dressy" looking. They feel like they have a higher arch than the white (but again I did wear the white for a long time) but still are extremely comfortable. All the same compliments as the white pair. I did get a drop of water on them and the "drop" spot is still there. Not terribly noticeable but it was my first day wearing them. As I said above, the toe area of the brown is more narrow than the white. It doesn't seem to feel different but it makes your foot look much smaller.Overall, these are wonderful shoes in every way. I purposely sought them out again and probably will continue to purchase them in the future. BTW, I purchased the brown on Amazon for around $78 I believe, which is significantly lower than the original price elsewhere.

My new favorite shoe!
Being at a job that has me on my feet 8+ hours a day, I needed to find a shoe that didn't leave me crying over foot pain at night. At first I tried an expensive brand recommended by a friend as "the only shoe you'll need." But after 3 weeks or wearing them I couldn't stand another day and returned them. Over the next 2 years I found several brands that were okay, but nothing that I was really happy with and my search continued.Originally I came across the Timberland PRO Renova Patent Croc style on Amazon, I saw the good reviews and thought that maybe they were worth a shot, so I watched the prices and when they dropped I bought. And I am so glad I did! I bought those in a 9 C/D and they were perfect. As for these they are no different; the toe box is roomy and doesn't rub me the wrong way, they have some cushioning, but also plenty of support. The look offers a little style via the Imprinted Design, but not too much which is good for me otherwise they wouldn't be acceptable at work. I also prefer slip-ons so this is a big plus too. Overall I have no complaints about this shoe and I am glad that I already bought a second pair as a back up for when I wear the first ones down eventually.

Bought for working in hospital
I purchased this shoe after finding them in West Des Moines where they were asking $125.00!!!! Right then and there I fell in love with them, they are so comfortable! I got on my phone in the store because I had to see if Amazon was selling these shoes for any cheaper! I was so happy to see they were in the $80 range!!It is not noticeable in the picture, but the band which runs across the foot is embossed with a design. When I ordered them from Amazon I was disappointed that it wasn't embossed and when the shoe arrived I was happy to see it was!I typically wear a size 9 shoe and in the store, size 9 fit like a dream. That is what I ordered from Amazon. When they arrived, the right one fit as expected but the left one fits loose on my foot! I have never had that issue ever before. I'm contemplating sending them back in the hopes of getting one that fits my left foot without slipping....I wonder if someone tried to squeeze their fat foot into the shoe or if it is just a fluke!Anyway, I love these shoes and can't wait to wear them around!

Lasted over a year and counting
I bought these because I substitute teach and spend most of my time on my feet. Regular slip-on shoes didn't have a look that I liked or the comfort that I needed to keep up with elementary school kids and sneakers look unprofessional. These shoes are amazing. I usually wear between a 9.5-10 and purchased the 10. They are a big 10, so probably more true-to-size than most shoes I've purchased in the past. I sub 3-5 days a week and these have lasted me for over a year now.The cons? I can't fly in these shoes. I've tried, they just don't launch me into the air like I would like. I've also tried clicking my heels together three times on particularly rough days, but found myself still in a classroom with crazy children driving me up a wall. I also can't run very fast, but that might just be me and not the shoes.Overall, these shoes are a great buy but won't give you super powers. I guess I should take a star off for that, but then I would have to change all my reviews as none of the products I've bought have given me super powers. Yet.

Great Comfortable Shoes
I'm a nurse and work 12 hour days on my feet, I've bought several pairs of nursing shoes, that aren't as comfortable or supportive as these. I've owned another pair of Timberlands and have been nothing but happy. I have very high arches, and generally wear a size 4 in kids to 5 in womens. These fit well. I do have a boney prominence on the top of each of my feet, when brand new out of the box, the leather is stiff and does rub a bit. With a few wears, the leather does give, and becomes softer, and now fit perfect. With my last pair, I purchased the plain leather (without the tooled print), I wiped my shoes every shift with cavacide cleaner to disinfect. With the tooled leather, after the first wear, I wiped them as I always have with my other shoes, the cleaner does fade the tooling. But lesson learned early.
