Remembrance Pattern Silverware Necklace Pendant Repurposed Recycled

This silverware necklace was made from a vintage, silverplate fork. The elegant design is the Remembrance pattern by 1847 Rogers Bros. I cut the end of the handle from the fork, rounded and softened it, and drilled a hole. After polishing the piece you can see it has a shiny, vintage patina. This silver-plated pendant hangs 2 inches (51mm) from a sturdy silver-plate ring suspended from an 18 inch (45.7cm) silverplated cable chain. The pictures show both sides of this simple, yet elegant piece.
