I recently installed this Cosmo range hood in my newly remodeled kitchen and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The design is sleek and modern, it works very efficiently at removing smoke and odors, and the installation process was straightforward. The stainless steel finish looks beautiful and really upgraded the overall look of my kitchen. Highly recommend this product if you’re looking for quality and style at a great price!

Installation was easy - we didn’t cuss or get mad at each other not one single time. Range hood looks nice, and works well. The light is sufficient, the fan is a bit noisy, but it’s not as if it runs a long time. The logo comes with it, so you can decide if and where you want to apply it.

Looks really nice, but it wasn't the easiest to get installed! The guy who helped needed a while to figure out how to convert the wiring from the included plug and cord to a back-wired installation; that worked OK, but when we went to do the ductless conversion, despite ordering a genuine Cosmo CFK4 Filter, it would simply NOT attach the way it was supposed to. Finally in desperation we used some duct tape and simply taped it in place and replaced the screens. Hey, it's working, and for the price, I'm happy. Looks good, works well, quite quiet. The lights are a bit dim, and I don't like the way they are placed at the back; it would have been much better to have them in the middle. But I can live with it.

Just put in this Cosmo 30-inch under-cabinet hood and I’m genuinely impressed: it looks super sleek in brushed stainless, the LED lights are bright and perfect for cooking, and it’s way quieter than my old one. Installation was a breeze, the push-button controls are simple, and it pulls smoke and odors out fast; totally happy with it!

This hood was easy to install, fit in my area as stated, just plug in and so far working perfectly. I like the led light and the ease of popping the filters out. Speed control seems good for the price. I bought for my winter home, so good value for the price. I had a white one and wanted to update to a stainless steel hood.

The Cosmo ductless range hood is an absolute game-changer in kitchens where venting isn’t possible — its powerful 200 CFM motor and reusable aluminum filters keep air remarkably clean and odor-free, even during heavy cooking. Installation took under 30 minutes, the stainless finish looks premium, and at half the price of big-name brands, it’s easily the best-performing and best-value ductless hood I’ve ever owned.

For the price this thing looks premium and works okay. Merely okay, suction isn't great but for some grease trapping it's "good enough". My major faults with this unit are how it is installed undercabinet. There are a number of issues with the install 1: The electrical cord comes out flush from the back of the unit. if installed underneath cabinets this means it cannot be installed flush to the wall, it has to be installed forward an inch so the cord can clear up into the cabinet. 2: For under-cabinet installation all it has is 4 screws that go straight up. These screws are very soft and break easily if they bind at all even with pre-drilling the holes. The screws are also so long that they stick into the cabinet. Screws are NOT an acceptable way to install this underneath a cabinet, it just doesn't work well. It's also incredibly difficult to hold it in place and drill the screws in place. The rear two screws are inside the unit so a long screwdriver or drill cannot fit. you have to use a stubby philips screwdriver to make it work. 3: There is an inherent design flaw to the unit for suction. There are holes in it for rear drywall mounting AND top mounting. They are pre-cut and do not have punchouts. This means if you have it mounted under a cabinet it will just try to suck air from the holes in the back since they're wide open instead of through the filter. I covered the holes with some ducttape (pictured) which helped the suction a little bit. 4: The lights on the rear of the unit just aren't in a good spot to shine on the cooktop. The units with front-mounted lights do a far better job. FOR PROPER INSTALLATION UNDERNEATH A CABINET IGNORE THE PROVIDED INSTRUCTIONS. 1: Mark your holes on the cabinet where they need to be and drill them 2: Drop BOLTS (not screws) from within the cabinet down 3: Secure the unit to the bolts with a washer and nut, wing nuts are easier to hand screw. Photo attached of one type I happened to have that worked well. Overall: If you want cheap and good enough, this is your unit. However if you can spend a bit more you will likely get better install and better suction with a nicer unit.

This unit was very simple to install, lightweight, and easy to convert to ductless. This was a plug-in, where my previous hood was hard wired. In order for the plug to fit into the new wall outlet flush, the sheet metal was cut to accommodate the size of the outlet. The cord had be duct taped on top of the unit and plumbed into the cutting. The unit fit perfectly. Minor suggestion would be for the manufacturer to have the plug not permanently mounted in the back end and allow openings on either side of the motor's rear panel as well as the top panel for multiple outlet options.

if you have older 12" deep cabinets, mounting could be tricky because you need nearly 1" for the power cord. it is feasible to adjust the plastic piece holding the power cord straight but that's a 'better know what you're doing' type issue. power is 44" long maybe in the factory, after internal routing you get about 35" (in my case) half an hour or so peeling off blue stuff and under 10 minutes to mount it. As someone looking for as simple an install as possible i scored 100% with this unit. Install was easy, i measured and drilled the holes for the front first, sat the unit on the screws (its lite enough) and quickly mounted the rear pair of screws. The front and rear have the wide holes that narrow so you can slide the hood on and off, i didnt want that and the rear has permanent holes so i used those. i was worried about vibrations and 'keeds' :) It looks nice and clean and i never thought about it but i appreciate the lack of some big stupid logo on the unit. its just the buttons and looks clean. the metal is thin but decent, doesnt bend or ding easily. The leds are nice, good amount of light, i got the 6500k to match my kitchen. The blue stuff wow, I ended up being impressed by how scratch resistant it is. its too bad they couldnt wrap my car in it. fan is good, its what i expected, its not silent but even on low the steam etc from the stove immediately flows up and out. there's a low whine, its low though so fades into the background easily. its there but low and i dont have to adjust my volumes when its on low or medium. I didnt test high, low-med gets me what i need. super happy, totally recommend.

Bought this because I moved to a new place, where the kitchen is quite small without air duct. So I wanted a slim stainless steel hood to replace the aged white modal (with a Under Cabinet Range Hood with Ducted/Ductless Convertible in case I renovate my kitchen later to make a duct). I like the bright built-in LED and three outside push buttons (the push button under the hood gets oil and hard to clean), There is three-pronged plug but I don't have power outlet, so I hardwired it. As others have stated, the blue plastic film wrapped around the entire product was quite hard to remove, but I managed to remove it except a little near to the LED light, since it is stuck inside so I didn't get it all out of the cracks. The provided 4 screws to affix the unit to the underside of the cabinet are too long, I used the old screws. The filter and parts are all included, the two reusable aluminum mesh filters are easy to wash, it looks good and modern, The suction power is fair and is enough for my small kitchen, it is not a luxury style with reasonable price, so choose based on your need, I would say for the price it is a OK unit.
