It simply does not work with any surface pro. My computer does not even recognize the attachment. I definitely do not recommend it.

Works and works Good too!! I needed this to connect from my Macbook to my Smartboard at work and it did the trick. This is a must if you are in need of a cable to connect between devices to and from your laptop.

My cable just died after 4 months of use and no longer delivered a signal between my Microsoft surface and monitor. Should last much longer than that!!

I use it to port the video from my Surface Pro to a TV. Works great.

The cable just randomly stopped working after half a year. The image is now turning on and off - I checked the ports with other cables, and there appeared to be no damage. Had to switch to a good old HDMI. I tried to contact customer support and was left without a reply.

This cable worked intermittently well for two days and caused interference with the sound. Save your money and buy a better quality cable.

My MacBook now has a second monitor. Happens to be a large screw TV
