Decent product at a good price.

I bought this for my basic little Flymo Mini Trimmer as I had just run out of the wire that came with it. I use my strimmer for corners and other awkward spots my big mower can't reach, some of which have very stubborn weeds that my underpowered strimmer had previously struggled with. I couldn't believe how much better this new wire cut through the grass and weeds. It lso doesn't seem to break any more often than the Flymo wire. I haven't noticed much of the advertised reduction in noise but as that's not the reason that I bought it, I've not been listening out for any. Really happy, its genuinely like having a new strimmer. Now I just need it to stop raining so I can cut the grass again!

I am happy with its grass edging capabilities not to sure it’s low noise though because my strimmer makes a noise like grizzly bear with a bad hip. I tried to get one of the kids to listen close to the cord while I revved it. Fortunately they weren’t around so my next door neighbour Derek had a listen, he’s not long out of dental hospital who would have thought the have inpatients.Before he got his teeth knocked out he did indicate to me it was a lower noise at least I think that’s what he said.

I bought a strimmer from B&Q a few years ago & the line kept snapping when I hit tree's or walls. I bought this recently hoping it would be better and I have to say that it is really good. Very much recommend.

Keeps breaking so not as strong ad u thought it would be

Works well for grass. For anything bigger/sturdier the line snaps. Might have bought a metal one had I known this. But all in all, fine for most of what I bought it for. Just need to use other tools for clearing bigger plants.
