We have a corgi with anxiety, so we honestly thought this backpack might be a stretch and fully expected her to hate it. To our surprise, she LOVES it. From the first time we put her in, she settled down quickly and seemed really comfortable and secure, which never happens with new things. The backpack feels very well made and sturdy, and it is easy to get her in and out. The structure helps her feel supported instead of slouching, and she can look around without feeling exposed or overwhelmed. We have already taken her on several outings and she stays calm the entire time, which has never been possible for us before. We are so happy we can finally bring her along on adventures with us. If you have a nervous or anxious dog and are on the fence, this ended up being a huge win for us. Highly recommend.

Very cute and useful! I have a pug and he’s a little short for it - his tail doesn’t stick out of the intended hole, but with a little stuffing it works well. Overall the bag is well made and comfortable for the user.

This backpack is perfect for my medium sized dog. It fits him just right and he doesn’t mind riding in it as it is secure without being too restrictive. Great material and design.

The backpack itself seemed well-made with sturdy materials and a functional design, which initially impressed me. However, the unboxing experience raised red flags: the packaging arrived heavily crushed, making it look like a returned item had been hastily repackaged. While I could overlook the box’s condition, the real issue became apparent when I tried the bag on. One of the back straps was inexplicably reversed (front-to-back), causing significant discomfort until I realized the mistake. Even after adjusting it, the strap’s orientation felt awkward, suggesting a possible manufacturing or assembly error. This flaw made the bag impractical for regular use, which was disappointing given its otherwise decent construction. Ultimately, I had to return the backpack due to the strap issue. It’s a shame because the product had potential, but the combination of questionable packaging and a critical design flaw left me skeptical about quality control. If you purchase this, double-check every detail upon arrival—hopefully, you’ll get a defect-free version!

I love the concept behind this product. It is well made.If it were more adjustmentable,I probably would keep it and continue to aclimate her to the idea. I measured my dog after watching the video and thought it would fit. They do offer one slightly larger. I may order that one at a later date. My westie weighs 25 lbs. She would NOT cooperate at all with me putting her in this carrier, so will be returning this one and try some sort of baby carrier which she might tolerate before reordering this one at a later date.

After trying a couple of the other high end backpacks, I'm so glad I got the little chonk!!! It's secure, sturdy, Hank loves the tail port, he was so relaxed at one point that he was dozing off! Fit reference, Hank is a west highland terrier, 14 pounds, 1 year old, he was 15 inches from neck to base of tail- I got the medium and it's perfect- I think the small wouldn't be feel as stable while we're riding! I highly recommend!!!

Y'all this was A SPLURGE. I was afraid I would have to return it since my dog absolutely hates being enclosed in small spaces, and she doesnt like being in dog carriers. For starters, my dog is a bit on the smaller side, so I folded down a part of the backpack and she fit perfectly. I got this so I could take her on bike rides with me, since she is older and cant keep up anymore. Let me just say, it is perfect for going on bike rides! My dog stays in it, she loves tagging along, and it feels very secure. Sometimes she'd just move around a bit, but she has never felt the need to jump out (which was my biggest fear). I've tried a few other dog carriers but I had no luck getting my dog into them. With this one, I had to put the backpack on backwards, and shove her inside. She was confused at first and did not like that I did that, but she noticed how she was attached to me, and immediately calmed down. After that fiest struggle, she let me put her in the backpack calmly all the other times we've used it. On bike rides I have the backpack on the right way, and it is extremely comfortable for me as well. The comfortability, security, to me, make it a good value for the money. These are our babies we're talking about here. Love that we can go on adventures 🥹💕

My 22lb pug loves it. Size medium. Just hangs out when we do long walks or if we are baking and want to keep him from chocolate. Does not overheat in it. Seems comfortable as we set him down and he doesn’t want to get out. But he is also a pug. Very sturdy and has a nice clip to hold their collar so they cannot try to jump out.

Es hat sich wirklich gelohnt, diesen Rucksack aus den USA für meinen Seniorenhund zu kaufen, sodass ich weiter Wanderungen mit ihm machen kann. Leider gibt es in Europa keinen anderen vergleichbaren Rucksack für einen über 10 kg sogar über 12 kg Hund zu tragen. Sehr gut strukturierten Rucksack: robust, sehr einfach der Hund hereinzubekommen (weil man den Rucksack komplett öffnen kann), Loch für die Rute, sodass es keinen Druck vom Eigengewicht bekommt, Kopfstütze für den Hund, solide Griffe auf 3 Seiten, sodass man den Hund hochheben kann und auf dem Rücken tun kann ohne den Hund und sich selber zu verletzen (man muss schon relativ fit sein und agil sein, sonst braucht man Hilfe von jemand anders oder man kauft sich einen Hundebuggy ;))

I saw the Little Chonk backpack advertised 2 years ago, and have been pondering on it since. Last week i caved and naught it because my dog and I need to use the pubic transit more often now. It’s great. She comfortably rests on my back. But if training and easing to get her comfortable with it, but once she was comfortable it was smooth sailing from there. definitely a great product, especially if you live in a big city with transit like myself!
