Excellent value, I don't know why anyone would spend more for a prestigious name brand. This is dead accurate square and works perfectly.

Smaller than I anticipated but still a useful product

I have wanted one of these for years. Much quicker than using a combination square and eyeballing it. Very easy to draw a line completely around a board and finish at exactly the same place you started. Great for times when you’re measured mark is not where you can use it to line up your saw blade just transfer the mark to another side and you’re ready to go

Bought this not knowing if would be practical but it is good to have, quality is good easy to use and read.

A really handy device. Perfect for marking the cut line on a 2x4 on the top and the side. So much easier to use than my huge, old and heavy framing square. This thing is compact and lightweight so it fits easily in my toolbox without adding a lot of weight. I should have purchased one of these years ago.

I’ve been using the multi angle measuring ruler for a bit now, and wow it turned into one of those tools I keep grabbing without even thinking about it. I picked it up for some small woodworking projects, but it ended up helping on way more stuff than I planned. The first thing I noticed when I pulled it out the box was how solid it feels. The aluminum alloy has a nice weight to it, not too heavy but definitely sturdy enough that it doesn’t bend or twist when you press it against the wood. The edges are clean and smooth, no rough spots or weird machining marks. It just feels like a tool that’s gonna last a long time. The 45 and 90 degree angles are super accurate. I used it to mark out some cuts on a set of shelves I was building, and everything lined up perfect. No gaps, no weird angles, no “why is this board leaning like that” moments. The ruler sits flat against the wood and doesn’t rock or slide around, which makes marking way easier. The 3D design is actually way more useful than I thought. Being able to measure depth, height, and angle all with the same tool saves a ton of time. I used it to mark dowel holes, check the thickness of some boards, and even line up a hinge placement. It’s like having three tools in one, but without the bulk. The numbers are easy to read too. Some rulers have tiny markings that make you squint, but this one has clear engravings that don’t fade or rub off. I used it outside in bright sun and inside in my dim garage and could still read everything fine.

I like this item but would like it to be twice as large so I could mark larger boards more easily. Why is it so small? Is it designed for work on miniture projects? Sorry, I didn't notice that you could purshase an 8" version until I went back to look at the original offering on Amazon. My bad! I should have returned the small one and ordered a larger one. Was the larger one even available several months ago when I ordered this one? I think I would have seen it and ordered the larger one at that time. I'm just now writing the review so I went back and read the other reviews. Most of the reviews mentioned that it was small, so the larger one must have not been available when I bought this one. Order the larger one and enjoy it for "normal" woodworking. I will ! I just hate having to spend the money for a second one. Oh well !!
