Silly Putty for Therapy
My OT recommended this for therapy after shoulder surgery. I lost strength in my fingers and wrist. Not only is it helpful, but it makes therapy fun too!!

Not Silly Putty
I purchased the three pack of Silly Putty for my grandson so he’ll leave my aromaputty alone but after I opened it they were hard as a rock and they smell like my late grandfather’s oily workbench. I don’t know what kind of chemicals you put in this but it’s god awful. I’m not sure I’d let my grandson play with it or not. The quality of it is NOT at all what it was when I was a kid nor does it smell anything like it.

Smaller than expected
Shrinkflation definitely at play here. The silly putty egg was barely full in all three in the pack. Still works as expected but a little disappointing.

Airbrush Application
Works great as a masking putty when airbrushing models! It doesn't adhere to the model or to paint, so I can cover areas and airbrush away without much risk! I've used it on unvarnished, and varnished areas and haven't noticed any difference! The only thing is, that because it doesn't adhere you'll have trouble with more finicky bits or super smooth curves. Other than that, works awesome, especially for the money! Works great!

I Invented a New Use for Silly Putty.
Believe it or not, I bought this childhood favorite the other day specifially to try to fix my cell phone! My ear speaker (not the loud speaker) had only been operating at about 1/3 volume for the past 2 months. I thought it was a software glitch until I saw online that the speaker might just be dirty. Someone recommended pressing Type Putty (for cleaning the letters on an old typewriter). I thought of Silly Putty. It completely fixed the phone on the first try, and now I can't stop playing with the putty. It was a real win/win!

Not great for the classroom
Not the best for ADHD in the classroom. It’s too much fun to play with and within a short amount of time was chopped up in a million pieces. Teacher said it made a mess.

nicht so toll. Entspricht nicht dem Silly Putty aus meiner Kindheit. Sehr kleine Menge, ganz anderer Geruch als damals und scheinbar auch andere Eigenschaften. Schade !
