Definitely an upgrade to most stock spikes. I wear Footjoy Premier and these spikes kick in very well and grip the ground much better than the stock spikes that come with the shoe.

These spikes look and feel great! Used the Softspikes Cleat Caddy to install. I’ve seen a lot of YouTube videos with horrible looking installs. Decided to go with the proprietary wrench kit and was not disappointed! Well worth the money if you want to do it right and have an easier time. With that said, getting my old spikes out was a pain! I had never replaced them and used them for about 6-7 years. So it wasn’t a surprise that they were snug. I did strip one spike on install because I over torqued it. They should be set after about two clicks, but sometimes it’s like 2.5-3 clicks. Even though it’s stripped, it still feels tight enough it won’t fall out (insert Michael Scott joke). And 17/18 ain’t so bad. I haven’t played in them yet, but wanted to get the install video up sooner. You can see in the video that I turn it back a half click to start so it ends up being about 3 total for this one. Hope this helps anyone else searching for a basic install video.

Worked perfect. My old spikes were a bit hard to get off as they have been on there for way too long. I recoomend changing them more often. However, these went on super easy just using my fingers. Perfect.

Be sure to clean the inserts on the bottom of the shoe. The first click is fairly easy it will look like the spike is setting off of the shoe a bit. The second click takes some force don't be scared. It will be a noticeable pop and the cleat will be set in the receiver where you can tell the difference. Otherwise you will probably lose spikes on your first swing. I know I did first time I changed them. Thanks Carol as I almost did it again. Problem is I ordered the pro pattern but received the pulsar as the ground is more soft. Still good enough grip for medium to firm ground. I'll wear these out and then order direct.

Love this spikes, but more difficult than others to get properly seated. They last a good long time. Be careful walking on the greens to ensure you do not damage the greens as the spikes are fairly aggressive.

The Softspikes Tour Flex are excellent golf cleats. They are very durable.

I was expecting the stud in the center to be a bit bigger and a bit more sturdy than the one they ended up with. It’s quit small and I really don’t think it digs or grabs at all like the metal ones that are available in Europe and played by the Pros on Tour. The outer flexible plastic bits therefore end up being just like all the other spikes made of plastic. Feeling wise it seems to grab ok but they do flex, which means they are soft, so I don’t know how long they would last. I would expect them to not last very long. I sincerely wished the middle spike was longer and sturdier so that it would dig into the ground. With the new rules allowing us to tap down spike marks I don’t understand why lay people like us are bifurcated from the Tour with plastic ones anyway.
