Narrative Cosmetics Alcohol Palette Refill Pans - FX Colors - Prime White

so i bought this to paint over my sleeve/tattoos to see if i liked the way a blackout tattoo would look & this worked perfectly for that. in the photo, that’s the day after i painted my arm. like.. 18 hours — roughly — later! the only thing that needed a touch up in the AM was the inner elbow. but this stuff stayed on better than expected. i did cover it w/ a setting spray after a few hours of having it on. so it was still immaculate even after doing things around my house. it’s completely opaque. it can be layered w/out it was kind of tricky to get the hang of bc u have to add more alcohol every time u need more paint.. (idk if that’s normal or if i was doing something wrong?) but it didn’t really matter bc it got the job done & has lasted over 2 days. overall i’m super happy w/ this paint. i will say it is quite tiny. after doing my arm (from wrist to mid bicep) i only have like 1/5 of tray leftso u don’t get a ton of paint. but i did do my whole arm & a touch up. so depending on what you’re using it for, it could be more than enough paint. but having to buy 99.99% alcohol did make it a bit more expensive than i’d like. anyway, yeah.. i’d definitely recommend this paint. i haven’t taken it off yet, but it was very easy to get it off my hands. i was able to get it off w/ 90% isopropyl alcohol too. but idk if it would work as well as the 99.99% to actually mix in w/ the paint. but it takes it off just fine. UPDATE: i decided to see how long this would stay on the skin, especially on a body part that is used a ton, like my arm & i can’t believe how well this has stayed put. 2 showers, almost 5 days later. w/ only 1 touch up in the beginning. it’s also very easy to remove w/ alcohol. i removed the inner elbow bc it was uncomfortable & it came off w/out issue. see the last photo to see how well it’s held up.

It’s not so water resistant and it rubs off on napkin. So you enter restaurant with much darker beard then when you live. Would not recommend.

Worked great , application process was easy. The hard part was taking it off.

This is a pan to be used in an existing palette for this brand. This is used mainly for special effects and is activated by alcohol. This is highly pigmented and a little goes a long way. Let me explain what I used this for… I am not a special effects artist. But I am a woman that has dark under eye color and dark acne scarring. My skin tone is medium with neutral undertones and I can’t seem to find a good concealer that won’t rub off after a few hours or cake on my middle aged skin. This serves as a GREAT base to hide imperfections. Add alcohol, dab on skin (if using on around your eye keep your eye closed until the fumes dissipate). Wait until dry and then use your regular concealer and BAM you have no more dark spots or circles. You can even skip concealer and use foundation and you’re good. Transfer-proof, long lasting, a very little goes a long way. You can def use this as makeup as well but you will need to add some moisture after it dries. Great product! Game changer!

I had high hopes for this. I needed something to make my hands white without risking transferring any makeup or body paint to anyone or anything else. Unfortunately, it did transfer and rub off without using the 99% alcohol to take it off. I also had some of it come off my hands with just plain water, which was surprising. I will definitely be trying another brand.

(SEE PHOTOS) NOT MUCH IN THE CONTAINER. The Smudge Was For A Product Test. Didn't Hold Up At All, But For A Water "Splash" Test It Stayed In Place. Will I Buy Again, Definitely NOT. (I Originally Gave The Product A 2 Star Rating, But Will Now Give It A 3 Because It Might Work For Someone Else Looking For Something Quick & Easy To Apply. As For Me, I've Found Another Company On Amazon Who's Product Gave A Much Better Performance & Satisfying Results @ A Great Price.

My need and use for this product is a bit unique. I bought a temporary hair system and cut the skin of the system a bit short on back and sides. So my bio hair stopped short and the system hair was also a close crop and scalp was showing through where the system is blended into my bio hair. I used this product (along with black since I have salt and pepper hair) to paint faux hair on the scalp that is under the thinned system hair. It worked beautifully. A bit of theatrical fakery, and quite honestly, I was skeptical that this would work and thought the glue/tape that would go on top of product would not stick for the 4 days the system would be on, and expected both the product and the tape to come loose. Well it not only stuck, when I removed the system with a solvent that was not alcohol based, the makeup was still on my head!
