I used this for the Chicago summer mosquitoes and it worked well. I used it on my kids as well (4 and 5 years old) we reapplied about every hour. The spray itself is not as sticky as others. The bottle could use a different nozzle as it was contracting after a few sprays. I decided to not get an aerosol can due to plane travel but I can see that aerosol is best for application. I used this insect repellent in Arizona over the summer when the mosquitoes were really bad. Best mosquito control ever! Doesn’t smell at all! And I mean AT ALL! Light and clean spray. I’m the person that attracts the one mosquito while visiting the North Pole. So…this stuff really works!

I should’ve bought three because one lasted me only two weeks (and that was a stretch). But aside from my misjudgment, this fragrance-free variation worked like a charm. I sprayed myself every 4 hours. The one time I waited too long to reapply it, I got bit, so it’s fair to say this stuff works. I saw some gnarly-looking bugs (i.e., the kind you only want to see on the National Geographic channel), and this bug spray kept them off of me. Plus, it’s truly fragrance-free, so it’s not bothersome to your sinuses or others. Because the climate was so hot and humid, I did feel it on my skin after a few hours, but it wasn’t terribly uncomfortable. I will definitely be bringing this with me on my future trips abroad. It’s effective, affordable, compact, and truly fragrance-free. If you don’t want to get bug bites, then you need this! **On a side note, if you’re traveling to the Philippines, it’s important to know that it’s hard to find 4oz bug spray. They mainly sell 1oz bottles, and if you happen to find the OFF! brand, you’ll pay a premium. I found a 1oz bottle of OFF! bug spray at a local supermarket for $5, so purchase them on Amazon beforehand to save money.**

Works great initially, and once completely dry it is odorless. However, just this pump version seems to change when exposed to warmer temps after a few days. We kept it outdoors on the deck for easy access. A week later, it started having a strong odor. Tried another, same thing. Scared to use it at that point. The canned product does not do this. Otherwise, works great.
